I’m going to be doing a blonde one down the road to match the original Joe figure. Since you are banging out awesome game versions, I think the brown hair would make sense for yours. Didn’t actually realize they started doing him in blonde for the games, guess it’s a recent thing?

Last few years, I think? I think some of it is incorrect media that bled over- the hasbro figure being a good example- and eventually the games just rolled with it, I guess

I didn’t notice it at all until you pointed it out. Now I need to go back and check out stuff like the 90’s USA cartoon to see what they did. I know some weird stuff popped out to me when I was looking at my Joe SF figures and comparing them to your game customs......like the 90’s Blanka figure has red hair instead of orange. Odd, will give our customs some cool differences though whenever I get moving on mine.

The different perspectives will definitely keep things fresh around here. If I had the resources/parts, I’d love to do full recreation of the hasbro guys, too. But I’ll have to leave that to you.

Having all of my childhood SF Joe’s and then finishing the main cast over the years at toy shows definitely made that the group I wanted to make. So like you said, will definitely be cool to have one set of game versions, one set of Joe versions. Haha, I just wish you didn’t set the bar so high!

The resource / parts crunch is real though. Been staring at my stuff trying to figure out if it is smarter to wait for new parts or just go and sculpt what I need.
