Flint has always been a favorite of mine, which might be why it's taken a long time for me to be satisfied with a finished result. Hawk was the highest ranked and Duke may have been the field commander in many iterations, but for me it was always Flint leading missions. In my mind, Hawk has stepped completely away from the battlefield and is the commanding officer of the GIJOE branch of USSOCOM. Flint is his right hand and goes on all of the most sensitive operations regardless of the theatre/terrain or fireteams being deployed.
Recipe: Head - combo of 25th Flint's Beret and 25th Tiger Force Flint's Face Arms - JoyToy from one of the 2nd or 3rd wave of figures Hands - Delta Force JoyToy, not the ones that came with the arms Boots - ROC Desert Snake Eyes Rest - Chinese Special Forces JoyToy Vest - JoyToy no clue which one Scarf - ? Rest - Fodder/? [Side Note] In previous threads a I've touched on JoyToy's quality (and some lack of...) While I still have doubts and probably would buy less of them at U.S. prices, I have to say this figure is leaps and bounds above the first 2 body types. The joints are tight and articulation works great. I did switch the feet because I'm not a big fan of most rocker ankles and the JoyToy feet run on the big side. Only time will tell if the paint and joints hold up. I have yet to hold an MTF figure in hand. I'm sure they're probably way better quality of plastic and paint. Still, I'm cautiously optimistic that JoyToy is upping their game. [Side Note Over] Code Name: Flint File Name: Faireborn, Dashiell R. Branch: Army SN: AR 307-62-4107 Rank: Warrant Officer Primary Specialty: Special Warfare Tactics Secondary Specialty: Rotary Wing Pilot W.O. Faireborn is a Rhodes Scholar. He enlisted in the Army and applied the tenacity and concentration he used so well scholastically to grind his way through Airborne School, Ranger School, Special Forces School and finally Flight Warrant Officers School; graduating each with top honors. A thorough tactical planner, Faireborn drafted and personally led a half dozen rescue missions in hostile territories that, for obvious reasons of security, were never publicly acknowledged. “Flint’s propensity to speak his mind in every situation is often mistaken for arrogance and can rub many the wrong way. But he’s exactly the type of tactician, and friend, every General needs: brilliant, straightforward, and at ease with being disagreeable.” Gen. Clayton M. Abernathy GIJOE Commander He almost has enough hands to have a silent conversation with Snake Eyes...

What a great Flint! The rest of the crew looks awesome in that group shot as well! Any chance we can get a closer look at that Stalker?

Cool build! Flint needs to lay off the botox a little though. ;)

Stalker is mostly the Beachhead that came with the motorcycle. He'll do for now but if I get a better idea for a body, I'll only keep is head. His head is POC. I lopped of his beret to try an early Stalker's beret but it didn't fit great. His beanie is from a Spy Troops Torpedo I previously used on a 25th Shipwreck. I also trimmed his dreads underneath for better movement. I'll post him separately if I decide to make a new one.

Sweet job on that Stalker head. That beanie looks more tactical. You’ve reminded me I want to work on that Stalker head too. The Resolute/30th beret is too big. Good job on Flint too.

this is trully great the "transplantation" of parts works really well and make for unique figures.
