Well, here's the story, we (my brother and Mom) had gone to costco earlier, and bought a chair, then when we got home and unpacked it, there were these styrofoam edges protecting the corners. I took them and made this. Kind of a spurr of the moment thing.
I think I did a pretty good job for my first attmept! I'll post more pictures in other replies. Last edited by Nathan92; 10-30-2008 at 06:20 PM.. |

Nice first attempt!
I really like the 'damage' to the walls. Try 'going all the way' and painting the entire thing. That'd really make it 'real'. paint some mortar between the layers of brick for an even more realistic look. Nice show, Cap'n. |

Agreed.
The inside walls should be the 'backside' of the brick.....not that it has to match the lines mind you, just the same pattern/coloring. For the floor, I'd go with a dull grey or black.....to simulate flooring... And definately get some 'breakaway' look around the jagged edges!! Great job so far!!!! Those foam coolers are a cheap base builder too. I bought a few for my nephew to play around with some time ago. Course he enjoyed them because he could pretty much destroy them without anyone getting mad.
