This is my take on Covergirl. Courtney was a top professional gamer with the gamertag kVr-GrL. Her performance in tournaments and Twitch streaming drew attention and many offers for modeling and sponsored product promotion. She was also offered a chance to test training programs for a new weapons system. Her performance in testing led to being selected as a candidate "pilot" and the rest is history...
Her gamertag became her codename after joining GIJOE. She also affectionately refers to her Wolverine as her Iron B!tc# Code Name: Covergirl File Name: Krieger, Courtney A. Branch: Marines Rank: First Sgt. SN: MR 973-244-860 Primary Specialty: Armor. Secondary Specialty: AFV Mechanics Sgt. Krieger was the top candidate for a prototype weapons system. After selection she was enlisted in the Marines. Krieger was assigned to and trained with the 3rd LAR Bat. (Light Armor Recon). Once the Wolverine Weapons Platform was approved for combat tests she was moved to GIJOE. "Sgt. Krieger built her first gaming pc at 14. She rebuilt and restored her great-grandfather's WWII Willy's Jeep at 15. She has unparalleled hand-eye coordination and was able to translate her skill in online shooters to real-world marksmanship. She may be the youngest and most green on the team, but she's not to be underestimated. Krieger's the best at what she does." Gen. Clayton M. Abernathy GIJOE Commander Recipe Head, Neck, and Left Arm - The Last Jedi Rey Right Arm and Hands - Star Wars Doctor Afra Chest - Retaliation Lady Jaye with fodder pouches Waist and Legs - Renegades Scarlett with Doctor Afra belt and holster Leg Armor - JoyToy AR - 50th Torpedo with added sights and removable suppressor The Torso and arms needed modding to work and the right arm didn't fit as well so I covered with a piece from Rey's jacket to look like a shoulder shooting pad. The knees on Scarlett are terrible. The bottom of one broke but more fodder from Rey and now she has knee pads. The Doctor Afra tattoo was the beginning inspiration for this version of Covergirl. I know some people have strong feelings on the new Star Wars trilogy. I don't love the movies or hate them. So while I know the Rey head is distinctive, to me it has no attachment to any character. Feedback and questions welcome, thanks again!

Love it!
Yeah, I totally get the use of the Rey head. If you are not a SW guy, why not use it?

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't get into the comics as a kid, and I didn't get to watch the cartoon much growing up. So I was drawn in by the file cards. They usually gave just enough background to let the imagination run wild. In later years the writing in the file cards really dropped off (after Hama I guess), so if I liked a figure I'd come up with my own backstory.

I have had bad luck with Star Wars heads - too tiny.
This looks great - very creative part uses as that Doctor Afra figure has a lot of cool elements to it.

I haven't had that problem, but I can see that being the case. I chose this head for Covergirl and a Pirates of the Caribbean head on a Retaliation Lady Jaye that I made into a Volga/Daina, because of their small size. Better proportioned to the build of the figure. The original heads on those figures were way too big for the body size. Especially Scarlett, looked like an orange on a toothpick.
