I've taken "past and present" of Silverhawks and Thundercats too. I just need to post them. M.A.S.K. was such an awesome toy line. I wish they had been Joe scale, but don't we all. As far as a favorite vehicle and figure from M.A.S.K. that's tough. I "collected" so many action figures as a kid I'm not even sure where M.A.S.K. ranked. GI Joe, Thundercats and Centurions were probably my favorites. I had all of the Centurions suits and all of the Thundercats and bad guys. I played with Super Powers, Secret Wars, Warlord, Wrestling figures, Mighty Crusaders, Blackstar, Bravestarr, COPS, Bionic 6, Visionaries...I mean I had all of that stuff. Okay, sorry bit of a nostalgia trip for a second. Okay, so I had Thunderhawk with Trakker as a kid and he was my favorite, but it would have been close with Brad and Condor. I always wanted Rhino, but never had one....(but I do now ). My best M.A.S.K. story was looking in the old Sears catalog for Christmas seeing Switchblade and begging for that for Christmas and sure enough Christmas came and.........Piranha. I got Piranha probably the lamest of all of the VENOM team lol. I did have Jackhammer so that was cool. So, as a kid Thunderhawk and Matt would have been my favorites. Now, owning Rhino it is my favorite and I really like the Bruce Soto figure. Sorry for the long drawn out response. I love talking action figures and especially 80s stuff and how often does that happen in real life? . My big four were RHINO, Thunderhawk, Condor & Boulder Hill. Those were the ones I NEEDED as an adult to call my MASK collection complete. Got all four for great prices with super clean figures. Haha, getting them with their facial features still present was a huge deal for me because our guys never had eye brows because of taking the masks off and on. Had Rhino and Condor as a kid so they always just had the combo of nostalgia and pure awesomeness going for them. Then Thunderhawk & Boulder Hill were both just pieces by the time they got passed to me so I always wanted to get those. Haha, only MASK memory I have from the store was with Manta & Vanessa Warfield. Don’t know what it was about her car but I think it might have been Kiddie City with my Mom and brother where he was getting it and I just wanted my own too. He used to ask for stuff, I usually didn’t, would just get his pass me downs of the toy lines he collected, I was probably mainly getting Ninja Turtles at the time but that was one of those where it must have just been obvious that I just loved that car and my Mom ended up getting two. I still have my Manta and Vanessa to this day and my Mom loves coming over and seeing the stuff she held onto over the years for us all on display. Always cool when she can remember actually getting us certain things. There was a MASK thread on here before where I posted this pic, this is the RHINO I picked up at a toy show a couple of years ago now. Hunted for one for so long, well worth the wait, it’s so awesome. I was so nervous testing out all of the features at the show because I didn’t want to risk chipping the chrome or having something go flying off. Haha.

Haha, no worries, I love it. My buddies and I always BS’d at length at toy shows and comic conventions amongst ourselves, with other fans and the dealers so it’s probably something we’re all missing right now because of the shutdowns and social distancing.

^^^The ‘past and present’ pics really show of your sculpting work to recreate the originals. Great job!

Then I found some good smaller stuff at the show, a few loose figures or whatever, nothing major, so I happily handed over the cash for that pristine RHINO. Really nice sellers who I always buy from so that was another bonus. Boulder Hill is so cool, definitely worth picking up if you have space and find it for a good price. Be fun to see your customs all lined up in front of it too! ————- As you can tell from my thread, I LOVE past & present pics when I am able to do them. These Silverhawks ones are BEAUTIFUL! You sold me, I’m making my own Quicksilver at some point, maybe Bluegrass too! You did such an amazing job and like it was said before, seeing them side by side, really shows the commitment you put in to make them amazing. I’m gonna add it to my signature at this point, haha, but easily one of my favorite threads to check out because it’s just such an awesome nostalgia trip. At this point, I don’t care what toyline it is, if you’re making it, I’m interested in seeing how you integrate it into your group.

Thanks! It was funny the day I bought it, was one of the first things I saw at the show, but Marauder John was there too so it was one of those, “I know I’m buying a bunch of stuff from him, this RHINO is a good price....but what happens if I find a bunch of stuff digging through bins?! I don’t want to spend THAT much money today!”

I've got Thundercats taken now so they will be next to post.
