Haha, come on, my favorite was the slice of pepperoni pizza who had a machine gun and I always wanted their egg carton troop transport. I started with Ninja Turtles so anything was game for me, food, bugs, animals.....if the toy was awesome, I was willing to give them a shot. Loved the McDonalds transformers line too. Haha, Big Mac was my favorite and I always wanted the Milkshake guy.
Yeah, I watched a ton of 90’s cartoons but then didn’t ask for a lot of toys in general so a lot of the future Best of the 90’s thread will be me making all of those figures I wanted back in the day, haha. In the 90’s I mostly stuck to one line at a time, Turtles, then WWF, Joe, G2 Transformers, back to Joe, a brief stint with Star Trek Generations, Exo Squad and then ended with POTF2 Star Wars. Very rare that anything else slid in as a one off but I did have the awesome Mario & Luigi from the Mario Brothers movie. Haha. ————— Your 88-89 Group looks great! Love how they had a guy for any type of mission there. Your customs really build out that group, love the Budo. Think my favorite official release is the Muskrat. He was a great Club figure. Battle force 2k are looking badass as well! Glad you picked them up because I really like what the club did with that group. Hated them growing up so the modern versions did a lot to turn me into a fan of the characters. Blaster & Dodger are my favorites there. Then love what they did with the unofficial members in Dee-Jay and Backstop as well. Thanks Budo was one of my favorites as a kid and the club version just wasn't really Budo. The club was funny sometimes that absolutely nailed a figure and other times it was like wtf is this. I'm glad I got BF2000 for the most part it was just a hassle as you know. Always loved Maverick. Flint, yeah the 25th and on got me back into GI Joe too :P though it was never gone, still loved the originals and Action Force even when I was on a break... I also blame the DC Direct, Marvel Legends and Spawn stuff out those days lol, was deep into then back then.
Looking forward to your next projects and loving that Cobra team shot! ;) Next up hopefully will be the final two Sectaurs and Overlord from Blackstar.

Ninja Turtles I like just fine. I havent watched the 80s cartoon in so long I don't even know if it holds up or not. As for the rest.....yeah....lol.
The late 2000’s Nick cartoon is really good too. First season is classic turtles but then each season following had a totally different setting and just some really good stuff tied together by a continuous story. Didn’t catch many episodes of the more comic style cartoon that came after the original and totally skipped the last Nick cartoon with the weird style because I was trying to avoid any attachment to the new turtles because space is just a issue now. Have three turtle setups already and will need at least one more so have to be strategic with them now. Should get a Donny from that cartoon toyline though, he’s usually my go-to when I buy a random thing since he’s my favorite. Probably end up with them for a buck or so when toy shows come back. Oh, the Club would drive me crazy. Like you said completely nail one figure, botch the next completely and then waste a spot on someone NO ONE wanted. Think if they would have just stuck to guys they could definitely do, would have gotten much better figures. I get that people always called for female figures as well but they just never had the parts to do them justice so should have skipped a few of those. Yup, that BF2K deal did not seem pleasant. Haha. Glad it all worked out in the end and you are enjoying the figures though because they are really cool. Was nice when the club would just knock an entire group out of the park. ————— Epic final two to your group! Love that you didn’t skimp out on the sculpting for Skito. Looks great. Just that bit on the boots really gives him a different look from the other guys, then you really went all in on making the odd head that he had. Love the coloring you put down on it as well. Skulk is awesome too! All of his sculpting is perfect, really works well with the jet black paint. Love the head, had no idea how you were gonna get that done but you totally pulled it off. Think he’s my favorite of the villains you have now, even better than Spidrax. Now you really raised the bar for me when I try these guys because I’ve seen them done so well, haha. Love the group shot, as always, you made such a cohesive group. Then the pics with their spiders are phenomenal. Definitely gonna be hunting for random insect toys when I get my Sectaurs display together.

Turtles definitely holds up, it was mainly humor so it’s still easy to lose a few hours watching the original cartoon. I’ve never been able to finish the final season or two while actually paying attention though. Have to give those another shot.

Looking forward to seeing yours once you get them finished.

Even starting with the Zica parts, I knew these guys were gonna take a lot of effort. Happy you started them before me. Haha. Did a killer job though so glad you finished another group for your 80’s collection. Now it’s on to the next line!
Yeah, Skulk is really cool. I loved Tarantulas because of Beast Wars & the 90’s Spidey cartoon so while I liked Waspex the most in the cartoon from the henchmen, I thought a well done Skulk would be my favorite in toy form. Now I just need to find a way to make mine look that good. Haha. Mine will be a while off still. Haven’t been tempted with sculpting recently. Figure I’ll work on Sectaurs & finishing Cobra La at the same time so at some point they’ll get done. Probably when they move out of my office as well. Haha, still just standing in my metal filing cabinet in the office because of those magnet feet. Once they are in their display, I’ll definitely want the rest of the group finished.

——— And that full group shot! Massive jealously going on over here, definitely what I’m striving to have when I do my customs. It’s not only hard to pick out which are customs and which are official releases, it’s hard to pick any of the Zica made guys over your customs. Just an incredible job. And these light box photos are really showing off how clean you are making these figures. Loving the pics!
