Thanks. Blackstar was one of my favorites growing up. Now I just need to make Ookla and Arial for Thundarr.

I only have the main guys from Sectaurs. I obviously bought several others but they were for the customs. So, I guess I'll just stick with the main 8 and call it a day.
Blackstar and Bravestarr are both on YouTube. You should give them a watch. I haven't steered you wrong yet. They aren't great but worth a watch. Blackstar only got 13 episodes but Bravestarr got the full 65. 90s cartoons are rough for me outside of X-Men and Spiderman, but I'll give it a chance. I did watch Pirates of Dark Water too. I’m slowly working my way through all of the old cartoons so I’ll definitely check them out. Got the second half of Silverhawks so at some point I need to throw those in. Haha, Pirates of Dark Water was an instant channel change for me. Same with Mummies alive. Probably would have enjoyed them both but as a kid I was out. Conan is legit good, what I always hope the He Man cartoon was when I try to watch that. Haha. I picked up the Double Dragon cartoon which was another 90’s cartoon that I used to devour as a kid, hope that still holds up. At minimum the theme song is still kickass. ———— The epic crossover pics are great. Your Sectaurs fit right in as a group, love seeing the core four together. The 85 Joes look awesome together as well. That’s a group I didn’t mess with much, all got pretty cool releases in 25th. Always want to group mine together like this for pics so making me jealous with these shots.

I have eight Sectaurs now, definitely want to make the four from the 2nd KS, then I think three more because of the extra heads that came with figures. And the one female character because she sounded like a big deal in the comics. So I’m planning for just under 20 in the group when I get around to everything.

Love the concept but the overall cartoon leaves something to be desired. I recall thinking Pirates was pretty good but I was like 14 or so and haven't seen it since then. I'll give Conan a watch as I think it's on YouTube. 86 Joes, 87 Joes, Dreadnoks, 87 Cobras are next and then get some vehicles out if storage and take pics of those. I'm only going through 89 and I need to make customs of Blizzard and Countdown so 88 and 89 groups will have to wait until my parts arrive and I have time. Vehicles are a good way to still enjoy my Joes and get pics of my collection.

These are just awesome!!
Love the figures from both years 85 & 86 as they formed the foundation of my knowledge into GI Joe. You're displaying them in such a great way. Is that a custom Dial Tone? Great stuff man. |
