Let's say I had less than no idea what I was doing years ago when I started and my first custom are still "tacky" feeling b/c I used the wrong paints. No sanding of joints or prep work just slapped some paint on and off we went...so yeah I feel like I've improved dramatically, but still have a long ways to go.

Same man. The tacky sticky paint..... fucckkk. I still laugh at myself for being such a novice .

These are seriously some of the best pictures of action figures, repeating myself but just love seeing all of these iconic characters that we never had scaled together growing up in a group like this. So much fun to see how different they all are but how you did an awesome job on each look.

Okay, yeah, seeing him fully painted....you KILLED it with the Rhino version of Matt Trakker! Love the build, the head and his mask! Had Hasbro slipped this guy into that SDCC set with Rom, Action Man, etc....I would have been thrilled. All I know is that I definitely need to add that version of Matt Trakker to my collection.

Haha, I feel the same way when I go through some of my older pictures or when I grab one to add to pictures. This one could be painted better, this one could use better parts....the one I’m about the drop, started both mold mates the same time but finished them months apart and I see them side by side and think, “haha, I was pretty bad at sculpting when I did that guy!” Fun time capsule to see progress though and definitely helps appreciate where we are now skill wise.

Like you said, we are definitely our own worst critics....totally being honest though when I say I’m continually impressed with how you’ve been able to make such awesome versions of all of these classic 80’s icons.
