Bullseye and Hardtop are spot on! Those are two that don’t look familiar to me at all so not sure if I ever saw their original figures before seeing your pictures. You did a great job recreating them and seeing the group shot, really making me want to check out this cartoon. Think I only ever saw the intro, definitely need to check it out now that I see how many awesome looking characters they had.

I had a Robocop that had the cap thing but I dont know if it was that one or not. I have that swamp thing too and he had his own cartoon so I guess I could toss him in the pics not sure about the date on it though. Yeah man I love your thread because like I said you are doing joes ive never seen before and then you absolutely nail the look of the vintage figures.
I didn’t even think about you doing some of the other guys from the 90’s Swamp Thing cartoon, that would be awesome since the bad guys had great designs. I have a number of those figures, always want to finish out the Swamp Things, think I have half of them at this point.

I have a bad guy from the cap gun toy line but not Robocop, want to say the later year one I have in the picture is larger though. That’s going just by memory. Have to clean him up and see if the electronics work, got him for $2 when my buddy was buying 90’s Conan figures. I didn’t even think about you doing some of the other guys from the 90’s Swamp Thing cartoon, that would be awesome since the bad guys had great designs. I have a number of those figures, always want to finish out the Swamp Things, think I have half of them at this point. I was actually never a huge fan of the C.O.P.S. cartoon. I bought the comics off the rack everytime a new issue came out and I loved it. I bought the toys because of the comics and much like G.I. Joe the toys were based on their appearance in the comics and not in the cartoon. Most of the COPS and Crooks look different as far as the colors of their outfits etc in the cartoon. My customs are based on the vintage figures. As for Bullseye and Hardtop they were vehicle drivers so that's probably why you never heard of them. Bullseye came with a helicopter and Hardtop came with an armored vehicle. Now just a couple of Crooks and I think my COPS customs will be complete for the project. M.A.S.K., Centurions, Secret Wars, Bionic 6 and Bravestarr are the only groups I'm completely content with saying I'm probably done with them. I keep kicking around the idea of adding some Masters of the Universe to He-Man and Skeletor and Ming to Defenders of the Earth and Beebop and Rock Steady for Turtles etc. Now whether I get around to all of those or not is a different story.

Haha, I just watched the intro for COPS on YouTube, could pick out some differences from your customs but still really cool to see now recognizable characters to me in motion. I actually have the original figure of the bad guy with the brain. I’m a sucker for 80’s cartoons so definitely gonna check out a few episodes. Have to look up the comic, didn’t even know they had one.
Definitely gonna look up the rest of the toyline too. Always fun to deep dive into one of the ones you missed as a kid. MASK I’ll be in a bit of trouble with if I can get going on them because I loved all of Matt Trakker’s secondary costumes. It’s great that you have so many of these toy lines done, will be cool to see who you tackle from those other lines, tons of great material to work with there. I hear you with time though! Especially on guys like these that usually require painting & sculpting.

Awesome, can’t wait to see how Badvibes comes out! Definitely the most recognizable of any of the COPS characters to me. Not sure how we ended up with that figure, I must have just thought he was cool looking in a store as a kid.
Cool, appreciate it, thanks! Will do. I was going through my parts the other day trying to figure some out. I have a few masks but they’re in various conditions of needing better holes drilled or needing to find bodies that fit them. This can finally be the push that gets me to pick up a dremel. It’s long overdue now that I’m trying more with customs.

Itch buddy I thought you had given up on this thread. I may very well do that thread. Not sure how interesting it would be but like I said I love seeing WIP pics. How are your MASK and other figures coming along?
