Thanks! I several lined up and I think I finally have time to get back to work on them. Hoping to get some made before the end of the year.

Comet is badass! Great use of the Cyclops head for him and then beautiful work on the paint as always. Love the fine details for his emblems. Looks like a perfect update to your original figure!
Great to have you back to dropping all of this awesome 80?s stuff that I never heard of before! Haha, always super fun to see, especially because you do such a great job on them all! I?ll have to ask my buddy about this group, laughed the other week because he sent me a picture of all of the Defenders stuff he just picked up and it looked just like a post in your thread! ???? And I totally want to argue the tier of 80?s ladies because Vanessa Warfield, Jinx and Pythona were all top characters for me growing up......but in an ?official? list, I guess I can see them being below the top tier. Haha, I would say you did them justice in the order I have them in because if I added one to the top tier, it would have been Vanessa. Still remember her and the Manta being the MASK toy that we left with two of because my brother picked it out, then my Mom must have just noticed how jealous I immediately was. Haha. I usually could leave the store without getting anything so my eyes must have been super wide when laying eyes on that purple car to the point where she insisted we get two. And I still have my childhood Manta & Vanessa!

Not even a little familiar with these, but that's some clean (and turbo accurate) work, as we've come to expect.

I usually could leave the store without getting anything so my eyes must have been super wide when laying eyes on that purple car to the point where she insisted we get two. And I still have my childhood Manta & Vanessa! Honestly the debate is what I love about the tier lists. I had someone on here ask how I come up with them and I went on an extensive long winded explanation of all the factors I consider....they never responded :( Vanessa was one I went back and forth on to be honest. It really came down to would someone that didn't grow up in the 80s even know what MASK was and if so would they know her. Now I could have done just a straight up 80s tiered list but then I would have wanted everyone near the top. I may do a end of the year tier list for the leaders at the end of the year since I've added quite a few from the last time I did it. I will definitely get your input on what you think. Can't ever hurt to get more opinions. I actually never had her as a kid. I had Condor, Thunderhawk, Jackhammer, Piranha and Firefly. That's the ones I can think of. I always wanted Rhino, but never got it. I have them all now so I guess that evens it all out. Well, I have the main ones now not all of the MASK toys. I still plan to add more MASK customs, but since Angelforge flaked out on everybody I'll have to sculpt the MASKS like I did Matt's Rhino (Ultra Flash) mask. I learned a lot from doing that one so hopefully over Christmas I can look at the final MASK and Venom figures and knock them out. Thanks! Yeah they were Remco's answer to the Super Powers and Secret Wars superhero lines. Remco was always good at making "knock-off" figures but not in the traditional knock off way. The toys were always great like the World of Warlord line and the American Defense line.

Even as a Remco fan, I am not super familiar with these! What an awesome project! But you always bang-out-amazing buddy! Love seeing some obscurities like this make it to your already very mighty roster!
It's funny I had a family member hand me an old Toybiz Cyclops head they found downstairs with the Xmas decorations the other day! lol! |

When we talked about Mike Summit.....you were not supposed to make him look that awesome!
That was a great head choice for him, face looks straight out of the cartoon. Then the coloring is amazing! Love how well the blue and orange pop off of eachother. Then the black and white accents give a nice contrast. Your sculpted bits work perfectly as always......and the helmet! I know that was the part that had us both stumped, you nailed it! That looks so cool! Looking forward to you at least doing General Plague......but I?m totally gonna push for the entire group! Haha. Maybe once you get through the cartoon and you like it as much as I do, then you?ll be hooked!
