Finally got the last few parts to finish off my Dr Mindbender custom. The top half is all BFS with a GI Joe cape, the bottom half is MTF (to fit in with the title of this thread!) I was never a fan of his cattleprod type weapon so I gave him some new accessories, but I might get one to complete the vintage look.

This Mindbender is practically flawless! I've kind of dubbed the armored MTF bodies as Cobra uniforms for my customs, so I really like the use of the armored legs for this custom.

That looks great!
I was inspired by kuh_rupt’s MTF Mindbender and did something similar. I used the same BFS gauntlets - but in a metallic color scheme. Did you paint the ones you used, or just find the perfect set? |

Thanks, I have a more modern Dr Mindbender earlier in this thread but always wanted to do a vintage inspired one. Thanks, Cross Country wasn't a character I planned to do but now don't mind having him in my collection. |

Only practically! Haha I know there could be improvements, sculpting is not my greatest skill so I may look for a Club or maybe cast head and I did consider dyeing the cape black but decided to keep it Cobra blue (and I don't know if I could put a cobra logo decal on the back). I usually try and avoid the armoured legs but didn't mind them for Dr M.
Although now that you mention the cape, I suppose black might look a bit better. 😆 |

Black would be more vintage accurate and would look better with the purple, although I doubt a guy who dresses like he does is that fashion conscious! |

Big Ben, Cross Country & Mindbender all look great!
Think the sculpting came out looking really good on Mindbender and the BFS wrist armor works great for him. Probably my favorite touch on him, just tops of a great build. Great paint job on Cross Country and you always do solid takes on Big Ben. Still need to finish my v4. Have him built but was having trouble getting the bullets just right, might try a backpack to get them tighter like you did.
