The Cobra-La General is great. Nice, clean paintjob.

Glad everyone thinks so, hit the mark for what I was going for then! Haha. Thanks, appreciate it! Really love how the metal bits and pants came out with how they had us paint them. Plus the comic style weapon looks so cool in person.

Looks very nice! I stuck with the crustacean bits and consider him an honorary barbarian in my fantasy stuff, but it's a creative twist to make him a part of Cobra-La.

Thanks! Always want to build out my Cobra La group so it worked great for me. Plus I don’t really have a fantasy display yet so anytime I can get a custom in on a Joe shelf helps.

Been a while since I took a figure all the way across the finish line because I’ve been working on new techniques which led to a few guys being stuck on the “In Progress” table but we have one I’m happy with today.
Always liked the Club Funskool Windmill figures for some reason, but like Hawk, didn’t really get why they did Funskool. I guess with Windmill it’s because the colors are a little toned down on the Funskool version, plus it allowed them to use the helicopter backpack accessory. Just an easy Club figure repaint with this one. Tried to stay accurate to the original’s scheme while also taking a few liberties following what I liked about the Club version, like the extra coloring on the helmet. Also left the Joe patch on the arm because I really liked it. Windmill Since I don’t have the Skystorm, I used this as an opportunity to take pictures of the Joe Firebat since that usually never leaves the shelf. Although he did need a stunt double for the dog fight pics because he was nowhere close to fitting inside with the canopy down.

He was one I just completely missed growing up. Don’t remember ever seeing the figure or his vehicle until I started doing deep dives into YoJoe. Not even sure if I’ve ever noticed them at toy shows.

Always love it when the mostly MTF guys put out a custom with good, ole fashioned joe parts. Colors look great - and seasonally appropriate!

I usually don’t have extra Joes to really mess with so it was fun to paint something different for a change. Was fun giving new life to their Windmill build. Same as Sonic Fighter Dodger, like him a lot more with the fresh coat of paint.
