I always thought that HEAT Viper had a neat look to him, ruined by the bright colors. If he had been in Cobra blue it would've been much better, I think. But good job!

Love what you did with BC Heat Viper! Wow the head is a nice translation and the bright green is great! So glad you kept the black hips! 1st time I think I have seen anyone tackle this guy!

Awesome paint job as always. The head looks a little too small for the MTF body. It’s especially noticeable with side by side pic.
And I always hated the different colored waist. He’s an anti tank trooper, not a superhero.

That green looks amazing. Your painting skills are top notch. I’m looking at the joints and I don’t see ANY schmutz or peeling. Wonderful job. I’m actually quite jealous. It’s uncanny how much that the Fortnite head looks like a H.E.A.T. Viper. Perfect interpretation.

Thanks! I appreciate it! Nice to have a simple build idea again, plus I had been sitting on that Fortnite head for a while now. And the black just makes the green pop so well!

Haha, not me, I loved the bright green! I was actually really surprised when I hit YoJoe after finishing him to find out they didn’t re-release him in the 2000’s under a different color scheme. They did a lot of the great Battle Corps sculpts in neutral colors so I was expecting to see a Cobra blue or a gray version. Thanks!

When I have a minute I’ll drop the parts on a regular blue, gray or green MTF guy to show a more toned down look.

Thanks! Yeah, really happy with how well the head worked for him! I loved this figure so much growing up so I tried to keep him as close to the original as popular so the bright colors & black hips were staying, haha.

Was surprised to only see like one or two on google when I searched for him after finishing my custom. I figured he’d wasn’t super popular but thought a few more customizers would have taken a shot at him.

It might be more that the head sits low than the size of it. Will have to look at it again, size didn’t stick out to me when building him but I definitely noticed the MTF peg went deep into the head so it sat lower.

Haha, I always took the black to be armor so I figured he was just protecting himself over his bright green suit.

Thanks! Such a fun color that I have so it was great to go all out and do a full body paint job with it. Yeah, I got into the joints and crevices so the paint is really in there. I’m just more careful with posing these full body paint guys than I am my regular customs, those guys get all posed up like factory made figures. Haha.

Yeah, definitely worth the $7 or so I paid for the figure now that I see how great the head worked, now I just have to do something fun with the base figure.

Thanks! It’s a Marauder original tan camo figure as the start, two coats of eggshell to brighten it up & cover the tan and then some coats of this craft store Granny Smith color paint. Pretty sure it’s “Nicole’s” brand that I got from AC MOORE before they closed. Was bright once I was done painting, then the matte spray sealer I use gave him a shine & brightened it up a little more. Really pops off the shelf. I love it! Haha.
