He’s definitely growing on me quickly, looks really cool on my Night Force shelf so happy I went for it. I was thinking black, green or the gray tee I used could work for him since they all have Night Force vibes. For the new colors and ones I didn’t have, I just grabbed one of each to mess with so I went with gray since that’s the last one I had left from the new batch. I’ll have to test out my Steam roller’s tee on him to see how it looks. Thanks for the suggestion!

Nice take on Action Man, makes me want to go back and revisit mine which really needed more gear. That WW2 head works perfectly for him.
That version of Flint is a character after my time but the hat and head with sunglasses look great for the character. Whilst I personally like the plain contractor legs if you wanted to go more vintage accurate the trooper legs would give the boots and enable you to add all the gear, or even the Japanese or US legs could work for a desert character if you painted the strapping around the bottom, and would give the untucked shirt look below the vest. |

That’s a lot of Flint goodness to stand up against and your custom is right up there with them. Great ideas recreating Battle Force Flint. Personally I think your update is far better than the original, which I admit wasn’t familiar to me. You’ve helped me respect Battle Force Flint though, now that I see the concept has potential.

Damn I felt like I blinked and BAM! You drop a bunch more customs, haha. So many more great additions. Big Ben, Action Man, Flint, TF Mutt, and the Cobra NAVY are solid! I always liked TF so that Mutt is probably my favorite of the bunch but your Admiral is also a gem that I’m really in to. Which one are you most proud of and happy to add to you collection?

Felt about the same, could definitely make him more accurate parts wise with MTF legs but liking this look, plus I have so few Contractor customs that this gives him a unique look on my shelf. Right now thinking I’m just gonna paint the pants to match the cream and then do the shoes black. We’ll see how I finish up with my parts bin though. Trying to really thin it down before thinking about a new order. Ooh, haven’t really thought about the Japanese parts for a custom, need to check those out on my shelf, see if anyone pops out who they make sense with. Quote:

Haha. Thanks! Feel the same way! Need to get a nice display set up for them now because they were not a group I had been planning for. Quote:

Hmm. Probably most proud of TF Mutt (think my build is spot on), most impressed with Big Ben (paint job), had the most fun making Action Man (camo & the colors) and happiest to add Battle Corps Flint to the collection because he’s been one I’ve wanted a modern version of for so long. And I guess most rewarding was free hand drawing the logo’s for the Admiral & Action Man. That’s something I want to develop more since it’s new to me and I’m having fun messing with that precision brush. But then I do love that Navy as a group though, especially because it gave my previous Cobra Commander custom a real purpose. Plus that group was an unofficial collaboration because like I said, your Scarface was the inspiration for / start of the Sea Snake trooper, my brother suggested the Admiral from Sink the Montana as a potential build & gave some paint suggestions and my contribution was the Captain. So felt like a fun group project even though I snapped the parts together & added the few paint apps. Haha.

———— Easy one today while I work on finishing up a few other customs, but one I wanted to get pictures of just in case I break him apart when / if Walmart sends my Wave 2 guys. So since I was taking pics, figured I might as well share them because I thought they were pretty cool. The original v1 Roadblock was such an awesome figure that I really needed a good modern version of because the Hasbro 25th just never worked. Pretty much just the prebuilt Marauder Joe with a few pieces swapped around because I needed them for other customs. Then I molded a mustache & goatee during my initial trial run with green stuff. Roadblock v1 With my other Roadblock’s: Then stomping some Cobras! ———— Then finally finished up my Dino Hunter mini series in my dio-story / comics thread.

Adding sculpting to your skill sets???!!! I see many great things in your future releases.
Your RB is an improvement of the one Marauder gave us. Also, I didn’t realize how much larger the hasbro RB is compared to the Marauder base until your combined picture.
