This Cobra nautical or navy crew is out of this world!!! I'm totally with you, it's imperative that your convention Cobra Commander is surrounded by capable and badass associates! Admiral Kerilia as his right hand looks fantastic as the rest of the team.
You took the blue German blank and created some really cool stuff here. Great work!! Really happy with the group, especially Admiral Kerilia, just so cool looking with the hat. Quote:
Thanks! Haha, I’m trying so hard not to order more! Added stuff to my cart and it was already over $100....must stay strong! Quote:
Thanks! Making them in navy blue, didn’t need much paint to make them perfect cobras! Quote:
Haha, went back and looked, does look like that! He knows better than that because this Cobra Commander is more Resolute than Sunbow.

Up next is one I probably looked past hundreds of times on my YoJoe deep dives but since I was really digging to find uses for all of my Contractors, I finally stopped and really checked him out. Then I realized that he was an original Tracker repainted.....and I loved Tracker growing up, so I immediately started working on him.
Night Force Action Man is not one I ever expected to make but he’s one I really love the look of. Really easy build here, started with the new Contractor and then just worked on parts that would help mimic the original figure’s design. Originally was doing an 86 best but it looked a little bulky on the body for whatever reason to I switched gears and grabbed one of the dozen white with blue accent vests I still had from the original marauder KS in my bin. Full orange paint job, then I added the green accent before finally trying the logo by freehand. Adding the circle around that failed miserably so I went with a cleaner look with just the lettering. A little different from the classic logo but I like how it turned out. Then I painted the hair & eyebrows black (since I was out of black hair heads) and finished off the look by adding the stripes to his face & arms. Night Force Action Man Gave him this 2000’s vehicle since I never used it before: And sent him off into action:

You made me have to look him up. Shame lol. As usual yours looked like the vintage figure who again I had never seen before. What is the story with Action Man? I know he came in the SDCC pack with Leoric, but no idea who he is or what that version is about.

Very nice. And, as usual, a fun little dio-story to go along with it.

My take was this Night Force version is the original or Classic version of Action Man, then the story put together for the blue outfit version was that this younger guy broke into the Action Man headquarters and they recruited him to be a successor. Didn’t look it up until after I did my pictures so was cool that it matched up with what I had in my head. Quote:
Can’t wait to see how yours turns out if you choose to move forward with him. I still need to do a good Tracker so seeing another version of this build would be awesome. Plus I doubt we’re gonna see all that many night Force Action Man customs. Haha. Thanks! Really fun pictures to take because it did end up towing the line between photo shoot & full blown story. Definitely one that would have been easy to add a few lines of dialogue too and expand out on. Maybe in the future! Haha.
