Very cool! I thought about doing a Secto, but in the process of thinning out the sheer number of Vipers and other soldiers in Cobra, Sea Slug and him both got cut in favor of the Lampreys (who I haven't shown off yet) handling all the small naval crafts.
If you make any future updates on him, maybe switch the torso out for a black one with some yellow gloves, since the original has those black arms. Very good otherwise! You know, I’ve had him built like this on my shelf for so long that even next to the o-ring taking pics this morning, I didn’t realize his arms were a different color! Definitely an easy change I can think about down the road when black figures because easier to come by again. I’ve been out for those forever though. Thanks for the comments and the recommendation! I like your Secto-Viper, except for the helmet. I would look for something different, to keep him more in line with that bubble/dome helmet. But that is just my two-cents worth. Otherwise, the red paint on the armor vest sells it, as the yellow is almost a perfect match!
-Todd Shakka85 Thanks! His armored McDonald’s vest really pops on the shelf so that definitely is my favorite part of this one too, haha. Fun to take pics of too since it lets me mess with my BUGG a bit. That was a fun grail item for me to pick up over the past couple of years. Always appreciate the comments and suggestions!

You're doing a slick job of translating the Eco Warriors colors schemes into something more tolerable, but still recognizable. Great stuff.

And LMAO! Always love that reaction to some of the 90’s customs! Thank you! He was one I was stuck on for such a long time so could not be happier with how he came out! He capped off the group with Low-Light very nicely.

Undertow is one I struggled with for such a long time but who I really wanted in the collection because he was one of my favorites growing up. We got so close to getting him from the Club and it drove me absolutely crazy when they did the box set in the old Convention color scheme and then didn’t drop the original version in the Sub Set.
This one started out from a comment Shakka85 made in response to my V3 Wet-Suit. He mentioned making Wet-Suit using the black Boss Fight blank and it made me start thinking who I could try with one of those. The answer was a diver who I just never could figure out with Marauder parts. So big thanks to Shakka85 for the initial start on this one! So I took the dark gray Boss Fight blank, painted the entire upper body red and then added the green stripe to the upper arms, the paint app to the crotch and painted the gloves green. Then I grabbed some Marauder gear and painted the vest, mask and pouch pieces a gun metal gray and hit the knee pads with green. Then grabbed some extra Hasbro diving gear and a tank from a backpack to finish off the look. Really happy with how this one came out. The helmet isn’t the same as the unique one he originally had but I lost that as a kid almost immediately after taking him out of the package so I never got to build too much of a connection to it. Haha. My Undertow was always mask-less and that’s how I display this one on my shelf. Undertow With the rest of the Iron Grenadier divers: And the 1990 Iron Grenadiers:

Undertow gave me problems too man. I think it’s just the 25th build .
I like your update though. Those legs are way better than the stock ones. Great work !

So you decided to jump into the BFS pool to make this guy, eh? Good choice! I like the way you painted him up, giving him the original Undertow colors to sell the look. He looks really cool on his sea sled!

Nice work on the Undertow! Until Marauders makes a wetsuit body, BFS is definitely the way to go. I've got a black one on my desk waiting to become an Eel.
