Thanks! Yeah, worked out really well to hold the cape in place. Plus it made him a little different build wise from what I did with Battle Corps.

Haha, he was made when I was handing out 86 vests like they were free cars. Like five consecutive guys that I built all were given 86’s during that period. I love them.

Budo needs gear for every type of mission so an 86 vest to pair with the thinner vest yours is already sporting would give him some good options. Neither need paint either so even better! Would make for an awesome gear up dio for him too with different vests, helmet options and swords.

Up next is my second favorite look for Cobra Commander, him in his battle armor. This one started when I was just messing around trying to figure out something to do with the 2000’s removable helmet I picked up for a dollar. Always wanted another version of Armored Cobra Commander but it was just not working with Marauder parts. Once I started messing with more Boss Fight stuff he was unlocked though!

So this is a complete Boss Fight build with the Hasbro helmet and a Marauder balaclava head. Started with the black Knight BF blank and their red knight accessory pack, painted the entire figure navy blue and then hit all of the red armored parts with a light gray and followed it up with my silver paint. Really love the end result. Then I couldn’t resist giving him a badass Boss Fight battle axe.

Armored CC's not my bag, but yours looks great! And I'm gonna give it to him over Destro, if only because he's got the vambraces. Destro's just looking to get his lower arms chopped off like that! Lol

I think the closest you could get with MTF would probably be with the silver exo-suit, or parts of it anyway, but the BFS have a certain je na sais quoi that looks very charming.

Thanks! And learn something new every day, had no idea those were called vambraces! Haha, Destro spent his budget on the shiny gold head & spikes, didn’t have enough left over for the extra armor pieces but it’s gonna cost him now!

Yeah, I kept trying with the chrome MTF body as the base but since the helmet wasn’t chrome (and I didn’t want to chrome it since I wasn’t sure if it was rare) it just never came together. Never thought of trying a blue MTF with exo suit pieces as the armor, that’s a good idea!

I agree though, the Boss Fight build just had that something extra that made him look completely different from any other build I ever saw for him. Really love how he came out and pairs with my IG Destro.

Haha, Thanks! This one was so much fun to put together and I absolutely love how it came out! Always enjoy putting customs together but I have to admit that this was one of the most rewarding.

I appreciate that! You put together so many clever builds utilizing parts from every source available so means a lot when one of my builds has that effect on you.
