Awesome Iceberg! The Boss Fight parts fit so well on that build.

That's a great Iceberg. He is a character who has been on my radar to do for a while now but I have been struggling to come up with ideas for, you have certainly fixed that!

Thanks! Feel the same way, haha. So happy to finally have the guy properly represented in my modern collection.

Thanks! Yeah, it’s been surprising to me how versatile their fantasy line stuff has been for Joe updates. Really loving working with the figures they put out. Thanks! Same, I kept thinking maybe if I could just add a skirt to the Club one and switch out the head, but then I just went all in since you just can’t have a subpar Iceberg on the shelf.

Since my Boss Fight Iceberg was a hit, we’ll continue the Boss Fight love with the other figure I did this week using their parts, Zarana from the Get Tough season.
I started out looking to make a Zarana with the Marauder pink hair but then my buddy asked if I had thought about the Get Tough version........I had not. Haha. So was looking at my Dreadnok shelf and realized that the Boss Fight female Knight build who I bought to be a member of the Noks could possibly work as that version of Zarana. At that point I just jumped into the deep end. Full paint job on the Boss Fight female knight and her accessories. Mixed a good flesh tone and was careful around the eyes so I didn’t have to paint those. Then everything else got done using the random paints I have sitting around. Just didn’t paint the wrist gauntlets. Then I added marauder armor pieces to her shoulders to give her some pink that the cartoon version had. Absolutely love how she pairs with Sonic Fighter Road Pig. Then a picture of all of my Dreadnok female recruits. Loving this group, just need to get a Cold Slither Zarana and the 2000’s Zarana added to them.

Very nicely done! I think I'd prefer a light blue dry brushing on the legs, to give her the jeans look, but she is good as she is... I do like that head sculpt for her.

Doing her pants more as jeans is a good idea. I was going off a DiC animation cell which made her pants look brighter so that’s how I ended up with this blue (plus it’s one of my favorite paints that I don’t get to use enough). I am putting her with Sonic Fighter Road Pig & the other Cobras who were in the Get Tough cartoon so the brighter look works better for how I am displaying her. Jeans would probably definitely fit in better if she was going with the original Dreadnoks though. The head sculpt is great, works perfectly as Zarana without looking identical to the Convention head. Like the different look for her.

This one was inspired by ARBCO avenue’s in progress Scarlett thread:
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...bcos-wips.html Been wanting to make a Scarlett for a while now but we have so many blue Scarlett’s that I was having trouble really getting into the project. Then while looking through pictures I saw some Get Tough animation cells that made her look more pink than purple and I started liking the idea. I started with a Marauder build and then just went all in with the paint job. Chose a light pink for her uniform, a bright yellow for the vest and accent colors and then went with the classic Scarlett red hair. I think the end result fits in really well with the brighter mid 90’s Joes while staying true to the character. Scarlett

Another along the lines of Scarlett where I’ve been wanting to do a version of Lady Jaye ever since the Val’s came out but was never feeling any of the original color ones that I put together. Canary Ann was always so odd looking that I’ve always been intrigued and I’ve been trying to use up the rest of my Val’s so I decided to give her a shot.
Another Marauder build with a full paint job to match closer to the original o-ring. Never realized how much the Val’s tower over the Hasbro women until I started taking these shots. I heard people say it before but never really stood them side by side. Canary Ann
