Haha, honestly I was thinking the same, there aren’t many Joe designs I love more than IG Destro so I’m not even sure what character I could top it with. I’ll try though! Still a bunch of guys I need before I finish the original ARAH run so it won’t be for a lack of effort.

Appreciate it! That was my biggest problem with the 25th version once we got the 50th in hand, always loved how it looked but he just wasn’t imposing enough for Destro. Definitely don’t have that problem with this build!

Thanks! Haha, I miss the front pages customs, honored that you feel it’s worthy because we had some great customs front paged over the years!

Appreciate all the kind words, everyone! Definitely a fun one to put together, think it’s my first custom using cloth parts and it was fun to blend Boss Fight, Marauder & casted parts together for one build. Think it has to be the most parts from different sources that I pulled together for one figure to date.

Day two of Iron Grenadier week brings an update to a figure that I never had growing up but had to make since my goal is to have the entire group in the modern collection. Wasn’t feeling him at first but as I started taking pics I started to like the character more and more so I’m happy I sought out to make him.

Pretty easy build with this one, all Marauder parts with a little paint and then a cast of the helmet from the 2006 Club figure. Not sure if they molded this helmet themselves or if it first came from an official Hasbro release.

Day 3 brings us the first Iron Grenadier update that I put together. Another that I didn’t have growing up due to him only coming with a vehicle at a time when I really was only getting figures. Out of all of the IG vehicle drivers, this is probably my favorite design.

Another easy Marauder build with a small amount of gold paint added to his arm gauntlet. Then a gun strapped to his back to give him the cord that plugs into his helmet.

He goes great with the Iron Anvils so painting his goggles gold is a possible change I could see me making. For now I left him with the Marauder yellow / gold tinted goggles for a more realistic look.
