Thanks! Haha, yeah, purple was a surprise pick for late era Bludd to choose, the helmet & spike always made it acceptable for me though.

Yeah, all hand painted from a cast that was molded in flesh tone. So mixed a flesh colored paint, got out my tiniest brush for the tight spots and hit the Armored bits with my chrome marker at the end to give it a shine. Big step up from my usual paint jobs. Haha. Not sure I could ever paint that head that well again.

Haha, thanks! I was kind of on a roll that day because I did the skin, eye, eyebrow & mustache on that head right after that Cobra Commander’s Head. The next couple of heads / eyes I tried had to be redone several times.

Gonna continue with the Cobra Battlecorps leadership with another figure who I loved growing up. Our v1 Mindbender didn’t make it to me as a kid, only recently picked him up, so this was my version of the character. Plus he seemed more battlefield ready than the no shirt, purple pants version. Haha.

Pretty easy build for him, used the head from the Club Artic Mindbender and then the rest are Marauder parts other than the black piece I wrapped around his head. Not sure where that came from. Straps were painted solid yellow since it made the yellow pop better.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I always loved him because he seemed completely insane, I still remember loving that episode where he’s playing the organ as a kid to drive the Joe’s crazy. Mindbender, Crystal Ball, Zanzibar....I liked all the weird Cobras. Haha.

Next up is another figure I couldn’t get enough of growing up, the V2 Battlecorps Alley Viper. This was probably one of the few Vipers where I had every version made during the original run through 94. Ended up loving all of them too.

Just fairly straight forward Marauder builds. I was running out of parts when i originally made these which is why they are a little different from each other, but then I sort of liked the idea that they just sort of gear themselves up with what’s in the armory so no two are the same, plus I usually use the one with gray accents as more of the Officer anyway.
