I thought the Marauder WW2 figures would work well for the first series of the Action Force figures (which were basically scaled down version of some of the Action Man figures).
First up (and I am trialing image hosting so this may not go well!) is 2 Para. I always thought the Action Man Parachute Regiment figure (who I guess is who 2 Para was supposed to be) was more striking so I decided to model the figure on that instead. |

For the Australian Jungle Fighter I decided to use the body of the US Marine. I didn't do as good a job as I thought on removing the logo from the chest pocket! I swapped the lower arms out for some from the T-shirt torso (not ideal but looks ok)

Barely any work done here at all! Used a British figure to make the Royal Marine.

I had already done an Eagle figure as part of my SAS Force display but wanted the original SAS figure to go in my series 1 display. I didn't want him to look like the Eagle I made, so he is a completely different build.

I was so disappointed that the Desert Rat didn't get funded (along with the other figures) so I have had to stick with my Hasbro based one. The hat is from the Japanese figure which will have to do for now (I am still hoping the Desert Rat gets made at some point)

Like most of my frogmen at the moment I am using BFS Blanks (hint to Marauder to make a wet suit body)

I always assumed the Action Force series 1 Commando was British, but I don't think it specifically says that, so for the moment I decided to make him from the US Soldier body

Again another figure that I can't really claim any credit for, but there was a German Stormtrooper in the Action Force line so of course I was going to use the WW2 German for it. Only really showing it because it was photographed for the records I keep of my customs.
I am doing the rest of the figures from this wave but waiting on some parts (which at the moment might take a while to arrive) The Action Force Commander is so tantalisingly close to completion. |

Nice job man! Even tho they're simple customs, they're effective and look great!
