My first sea vehicle custom, the Coral Cobra!
Parts list Lower part: Water Moccasin '84 Upper part: H.I.S.S. '83 Polar Battle Bear '83 guns D.E.M.O.N. '88 cannon Thunderclap '89 turret F.A.N.G. '83 rotor blades Hammerhead '90 torpedoes H.I.S.S. '02 canopy Styrene All parts have been modified in some way. Also added extra pegs to put the torpedoes on. Paint scheme was an experiment, I recently saw a technique called water dipping. Not sure on the result, it might look a little sloppy. |

I'm not a big vehicle guy, and as impressive as repaints and restorations can be, they don't really move me.
This, however, is gorgeous. Very impressive.

I love it! I've been wanting to try hydro dipping myself, so I have a couple of questions: Did you go with the spray paint in water method, and how well does it adhere to the plastic?

Wow. Nice. I haven't seen water dipping in years. I tried it a couple times myself with model cars back in the 80s. You got some nice results.

I like it. Really slick vehicle! And the paint job doesn't look sloppy to me at all. It looks really good.
