There's been some rumblings about the weird sidearm the 25th CGs have. And for good reason, it's loose and doesn't really fit with the figure. It's a weird holster, if you can even call it that...
So I bought a sawed off shotgun from Marauders and cut off one end of the holster-thing to form a sort of hook, not unlike that of Dreadnok Torch. FITS PERFECTLY!

Good call, that's much better. I know I'd rather have a sawed off shotgun than a revolver.

See... All this debate over the revolver, but no one complains about the spurs these guys sport.
Interesting modification, but I just can't see myself cutting into my guardsmen anytime soon. Besides, I like the revolver. Just wish it fit better. |

YOU BROKE IT!!!!! That's just... Eh well, nice mod! The sawed-off shotgun fits and looks better than the revolver.

Goes back to the original design, with functionality. Very nice. But like Hicks said, I can't see myself cutting into my CG's even though that looks awesome.
Who knows what will pass in time. I may bring myself to do such with a few of them.

I wonder if Marauder John knew that? He does sell a "CG" bundle that includes 4 of those shotguns.

much better than the silly pistol it comes with. i bought modern pistols from maurders and had to use an exacto knife to shave off a tiny fraction on the inside of the holster inorder to allow the pistols to slide in. otherwise you end up with whitish plastic stress marks from forcing them in, like i now have on most of mine.
