THe little hills are foam I saved from packaging. I dremmeled them down to be more roundish instead of square. Then I painted them brown and green and then I glued moss on them. The mountains were influenced from this video (see below) but I did my own take on them. Instead I didnt glue them down to anything so I can move and pose them however I want. I used big pieces of styrofoam I had saved from packaging then i ductaped the most random stuff to them to give it shape and 3-Dness. Then I papermachet them. after that I gave em a quick brown wash to give it a more textured look and lastly i glued moss and other similar stuff on em.

Thank you and yes I made it all. The ground is that white foam board that tri-folds (can pick it up anywhere - walmart, target, joe anne fabrics, etc..)I Glued down green paper similar to construction paper that I bought at joe annes. I also glued down chunks of this cork paper I also bought from there. Then I added some different shades of green and brown paint just to make it look like natural ground. I only added the paint to one out of the 3 though cus once it dried it made the edges curl up a little bit and not lay flat. which i fixed by holding it down with rocks which also fit into the diorama naturally so no big deal.

They look awesome, once you paper mached it, how sturdy is it? |

Thanks and they are very sturdy. I made sure of that. The sturdiness just all depends on what you use for a base when you begin.
