After posting my desk and chairs, I started going through my profile and realized it's actually been almost a full 3 years since I had last posted anything I've made. Sloppy, Nate, sloppy.
Anyway, after making the desk and chairs, I suddenly realized I had been unknowingly making an actual office set, when I just wanted a couple pieces of my own design for my dio. I love happy accidents. In this case, what office doesn't have a filing cabinet of some sorts. The brown double unit was my first attempt, but felt it was too big. The silver one seems to do the trick, in design and single unit at least. The plan is to have single, double and triple units available after final tweaking, but these are done. Last pic is of the current design in all 3 size iterations with some mockup files. I actually printed a couple blocks of 'files'...without paint they don't look like much, but we'll see. As before, suggestions, comments, damnations welcome. Thanks for looking!! Edit: Gotta stop doing this so late, the original pics were not my final design afterall, the pics posted as of the date shown for this update are of the final product of this version. I've also posted v2.

Had just enough time to print the triple cabinet in the smaller size(compared to the brown) overnight.
While my printer had a hiccup(doesn't like too many parts per session), I confirmed I need to thicken the front and back of the drawers(20 minutes), but more importantly, I'm thinking, I need to shorten each single cabinet just a smidge to bring the triple down, but I'd love to hear what others think?

You could scale it down just a smidge.
But it's such an original design that it doesn't really matter. Fantastic work on all of the furniture stuff. |

Great stuff! And I see Dr. Mindbender is being has been sent to do some filing now, as well (he was in the garage working on tires in the last picture I looked at). He must be on Cobra Commander's "list", and has to do all the crummy jobs no one else wants to do...

Hmmm, envisioning a wall of these but square walled instead of the hex style, and longer for a morgue wall....could be an idea. Could glue together into a wall of your style.

Glad I wasn't the only one who had that idea!
