Thanks for the comments .
I bring more joe goodness after so much time, ninja style; Thunder Ninja; canonic character, yes ;) . Browsing boredly through YoJoe, I stumbled upon the Micro force figures, and a design struck me as fresh, new, and basically, never seen before, Thunder Ninja. Tried to get more info about him but couldn't, I don't know if he appears on comics, but couldn't find anything. I thought it would be cool to make it into a ARAH figure. You can check his micro force figure here; https://www.yojoe.com/micro-force/13/thunderninja.shtml *

I remember seeing the little guy and having no idea who he was. MUCH better in 1:18, though. Thanks for sharing.

I say this in all sincerity, Lava, but you are a design Mozart. That may sound hyperbolic, but your figure designs are spectacular. They are fresh and unique and, quite frankly, inspiring. There is not one figure in this entire thread that is mediocre. Looking through your thread is just a real treat.

Many thanks for your comments .
Rob, many thanks for your praise ;) . I always try to do something different and imaginative. Your post just demands that I post some more of my work . Torinoko. A concept I've come up myself, considering what might have happened if GI JOe had continued in 1995. Coming from the Ninja fever of the nineties, more Ninjas were tremendously possible, and so I went a bit for colours like Budo unreleased, with a gimmick like chrome hand, and a bit of textile like Tjbang, etc. He is an outcast ninja, dishonoured by a previous deed, who roams having sworn revenge to all other ninja clans. Mariner; googling I found a image of possible, but unproduced comic book character that were considered for the GI Joe vs Cobra run. One of them, Mariner, struck me as one of the more interesting of the lot, and wanting another new Joe, I thought he was a good choice to enlarge my GI Joe vs Cobra collection. And to finish, a custom I did on commission, not for my own collection. Dusty Hayes from MASK; in GI Joe 25th style. Good thing is that I casted the helmet, so someday I'll be able to do my own vintage version . Cobra commander was just the best base body out there, didn't even have to paint much of him.

Thunder Ninja is new to me. Looking through the Micro figures they also did Beast Ninjas and Ghost Ninjas. I believe the Ghost Ninja originally appeared as a "concept vault" figure at Joecon 2012 (you can see them here https://news.hisstank.com/2012/06/29...-display-11473). Great work, I love your customs.

Many thanks ;) . Gosh, they really did pre production concepts, I didn't know. I bring you some more!
Here is Granit, a custom that was inspired by a great custom, I think I saw on Chad/Matthews website (please correct me if I am wrong). I saved the image for years, and then I stumbled onto a "granite spray", a strange and wonderful item, that allows you to actually spray texturized granite onto something. The design is sadly flawed, as it is clogging continuously, but at least allowed me to pull out this custom . The main idea is that he sports a new, experimental armour based in very thick granules that renders him virtually indestructible to small arms fire, and hence, if you have such a suit, the first thing you do is becoming a mercenary . *Looter; loosely inspired by Chad & Matthews customs of the possible "Jurassic Park" line in o-ring style. The design was cool, and I was looking for some inspiration, as sometimes is tiring to come up with new concepts . However, second versions of characters bores me, so I made him a brand new exciting character, Looter. Specialist in sacking old temples, tombs, any kind of valuable artifact, and also breaking in museums and private mansions. Knows everything there is to know about traps, curses and the like. He enlisted to Cobra to get access to more temples, to do more looting, as Cobra has the best database of lost temples and similar . *Here is Wild Boar! this was another commission for a 25th version. Hasbro left the line with manygaps, hundreds of them really. I made his weird two-helmeted fashion, and gave him a weapon as the original never had one. Again, I believe I got rid of another Snake Eyes from this world (far too many :lol, to create this new character.
