been wanting to make this for years, now I have the need for it due to reorganizing the joe room. my skystrikers are head to toe to not take up as much room as possible but its no fun looking at a nose then jets then a nose etc.
so I built this prototype out of scrap wood. the dimensions come out very simple. now I just have to mass produce them for all my skystrikers and customs. was going to paint them but they really are not that noticeable so i'm going to leave them raw (saw a lot of time to) https://www.facebook.com/pg/Mach-5-C...=page_internal thanks for looking Last edited by Voice of Reason; 12-25-2019 at 12:50 PM.. |

Nice; you should try acrylic for your stands

thanks. acrylic isn't cheap and I really don't need something see through. these are not being put on "display" like on a desk or something. they are going on a shelf with all the other ones so i'm fine with seeing the little bit of wood head on. plus it only cost me some time, the wood will come from my scrap pile.

I don't get it. Why not just have the landing gear down if it's that low?

I suspect it's to keep the stress off the landing gear.

That, and he mentioned not wanting them to take up much room. So, I suspect it has more to do with having the wings back.
