purple ? I thought it was brown ?
My one looks brown quote=dprime;873206] those look great - i can't believe hasbro thought releasing it in that awful purple was a good idea, and they've never done anything like this. Wtf? Awesome job. I like the gat from the ram, nice touch! Oh and THANKS!!! I've never posted anything on here before, I think I was afraid- But it means a lot to hear so many positive things from you guys. Last edited by In Like Flint; 07-17-2009 at 09:58 PM.. |

Thank you! (I was afraid the "Flint as Pimp" thing was going to get old when I redid it again with newer versions of Flint & Lady Jaye.)

I was afraid it would be- and scared it would break a fender, but no, on some it just pops right off without any effort. Just take note of how the tab is angled under the front fender.
And hot water helps too if you get a stubborn one. Also for those of you who want to save the hasbro applied decals- the plastic is kind of waxy like the vamp and armadillo. if your careful about peeling them off and not creasing the corners you can reuse them pretty easily. On a few I just trimmed them down a little with an x-acto knife to get rid of bent edges before reapplying. |

Thank you! I'm still torn over which is my favorite. I should have my white one finished tonight- The paint is going on like powdered sugar and not looking smooth at all. I really hope the clear coats afterward will save it.

Sometimes this stuff comes out of the box warped or bent really bad, but just heating it up with a hair dryer can fix it. But NEVER EVER use a hairdryer if you've just put gloss or dull coat on a custom!!! It turns the stuff white. I ruined a few figures that way. |
