I was surprised how well the Club’s Banzai turned out. Despite that, I wanted to customize mine to be a little more vintage accurate. I swapped out the factory head for a resin cast Convention 2018 Spirit head sculpt and a POC Snake Eyes training mask. I mixed a custom paint color to match the factory skin tone, I mixed a custom color of paint to match the factory’s magenta and I speckled the pants to resemble the paint splatter look of the vintage figure.
No idea why some of the pics are rotated. If a moderator could fix that, it would be appreciated. Thanks Last edited by Xerofall; 03-26-2019 at 09:40 AM.. |

Always love to see your work.
That paint splatter looks amazingly good. I’d imagine it’s a hard to keep it from just looking like drizzle versus being intentional. Very well done. |

That's sweet!!! Love the paint matching!!! That head would have been just a bit better, but I guess it was not available when this figure was designed.

You have to edit and crop the photos before you upload them.

Looks good! I'm tempted to add the paint splatter too. I was surprised how much I liked the head they used. Do you mind showing off the head without the mask?

Thanks for all of the good words.
Ah, ha. Thanks! Quote:
I would also like to say that the mask I used wasn’t the only one I considered. My top two choices were this one and the Shadow Tracker/ Dreadnok Kaos mask, but unfortunately the latter mask was way too small to fit this head. |
