As always, another great set.
There's something about the hooded CC that stands out. It might be because the upper part of the figure is very clean- no shoulder boards or medals or shoulder cords. The decorative flourishes CC would normally embrace. This gives the impression of a no BS version of the character. |

Just a few that I am currently working on
And a couple from DIC Unfortunately, Deckard requires me to wait for a custom painted head Gnawgahyde is a bit of a troll on my part. He will not be finished until MJ puts a Caucasian Bare Torso up on the website. Finally got around to working on a Copperhead. I got a resin helmet from AVAC?s, but it is for a small noggin. I am using an MTF Brynner head as it is the smallest MTF head I can think of, but it is still stretching the Copperhead helmet to the breaking point. Of course this kitbash will also need to wait until MTF Bare Torsos are a thing. I DO have an alternate plan, though. I truly and honestly like the idea of Copperhead being a low-key Dreadnok. I am thinking of making a Battlecorps version of Copperhead in the vein of the classic Dreadnoks: leather pads, jeans, rips, the whole nine yards. I even have the Dime Novel Legends Sandrigham hat picked out for him. The V1 Copperhead helmet will, for now, just be an alternate look for when he is actually piloting the Moccasin. Speaking of small noggins, I also got a 3D printed Sci-Fi head from Star Wars Geek, but that file is clearly for 6?. The 1:18 downsize is too small. I originally wanted to use the head for an Eco-Warriors Deep Six or Eco-Warriors Barbecue or a 1993 Snowstorm (or for all three if it was successful), but, alas, the head was comically small for a helmet. But it came in black and has a faceplate, so that is where I got the idea to use it for B.A.T. V2.

It's amazing how much fine tuning has gone on throughout this thread to improve your already impressive builds... You keep going back to the well to complete your vision!

Thanks you guys.
I am sorry that this thread has turned more into a VLOG (Th-log?) instead of a presentation thread. Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of disposable income, so most of the time I am tweaking existing builds as opposed to making new builds. turner, that Copperhead helmet is actually from AVACSLAB (hat-tip to Coby). It is a custom piece cast in flexible resin. In actuality, the head I used is just a tad too big for it and the helmet is pretty stretched out, making it a fairly delicate get-up. The helmet WAS cast in blue-green, but I painted over it with some blue and green of my own. Okay, so, having said all that about not having the money for new builds, I WAS able to get a couple pieces for a new kitbash. Keep in mind that I am FULLY aware that this a shitty kitbash. The picture makes it look even worse if that is possible. I have tried several times to get the picture to look halfway decent. No such luck. The pics are washed out and desaturated and the light makes the painted layers almost transparent. The painted pieces look very mottled and splotchy. I guess the main reason I am posting this embarrassment is I wanted to show the orange robot arms. I think they are the only saving grace of this build. I am currently actively re-doing this build B.A.T. (V2): 1992

The head underneath is a BRYNNER head from Marauders. It is the bald head. I actually had to shave off the ears to get it to fit.
I am surprised that I am actually able to present this next kitbash. It came together much faster than I thought. Little backstory (cue the wavy flashback) Long time ago, I got a custom cast Scrap Iron head. Could not paint back then and butchered it. Then bought a 25th Anniversary Scrap Iron head and used that for my MTF Scrap Iron kitbash. Got better at painting. Re-did the original Scrap Iron head cast successfully. Decided to do a Battlecorps version of Scrap Iron. Hated it. Did a second version of Battlecorps Scrap Iron. Did not like it either. Decided to do a third Battlecorps Scrap Iron. This is that version. I decided to go in a different direction with this Scrap Iron. I wanted this guy to be a bit, uh, grimy. I wanted this version to be more slapdash. I thought the WWII British Soldier fit the bill. I wanted it to look like Scrappy was just wearing a jumpsuit or coveralls like a mechanic or something. At first I was going to make the accents much more rusty looking, but I decided on a brassy color. SCRAP IRON (Battlecorps)
