Flint, Frostbite and Torpedo are all fantastic! The parts and paints work well on all of them, making them all recognizable as who they are supposed to represent. And I am just going to say that the Frostbite is the biggest surprise of the bunch for me, because I didn't even like the Battle Corps version, but I would buy one that looks like your MTF figure! Kudos, bro!

Going off on a tiny tangent here. Most times when I finish a custom, it?s not because I think, ?THIS IS AMAZING! There is no way that this figure can get any better! It is a thing to behold!? Most of the time, the reason I stop a custom is because I?m thinking, ?Shit, I better stop now before I completely F this figure up!?
These next two entries are just little and subtle changes that make them suck less. For Low-Light, I replaced the Trooper head, which looks totally fine clean shaven, but unfortunately looks effeminate with the beard painted on. I switched that head out for the Ranger bearded head. I also painted red lenses on the quad goggles for a little pop of detail. LOW-LIGHT (V3): 1991 Sometimes the plain figures are harder to recreate than the fancy ones. With Jinx, there aren?t any extra details like pouches or armor, or greebling to distract the eye from the base figure. Jinx just wears a plain red outfit. It?s hard to make her cool. When I finished Jinx, I realized that, even though the original figure was all red, she does have a little bit of black on the collar and cuffs. I hadn?t added the black previously, so I needed to do that. JINX (V1): 1987

Great stuff! The desert paratrooper Flint elevates the best aspects of that figure design. The Frostbite is also a really brilliant build and the paint job is amazingly clean and sharp. Torpedo's my pick of the batch, though! I generally hated the "new sculpt" era, but they had some great accessories scattered through the line. Love the way you've combined two of those accessories here to create a really cool diving kit. Speaking of his kit, what's that accessory attached to his right thigh? I like the look of it, but can't place it.

Today’s tweak is VERY subtle. I finally painted the inside of Blowtorch’s backpack so the orange won’t peek through. Also, I finally got some yellow gloves. Had to purchase a “BAT-Ops” figure to get them. Tried a layer of Testors Blue Angel Yellow. Have to say, even after having that little bottle for years, it’s still just as good as day one. You wouldn?t be able to tell, but I also used a slightly darker red on the vest. Moved some pouches and armor pads around to give him a little more symmetry. Like I say, not much, but I’m still going to record all progress.
BLOWTORCH (V1): 1984

I’m surprised how helpful the black cuffs are on Jinx. Helluva Blowtorch too!
