I really like this unique take on a "Star Brigade Lady Jaye," ...lots of fun stuff going on from top to bottom! I think the feminine color palette makes it very memorable amongst your endless roster. It actually could be an all new original character if you wanted it be. ;-)

Thanks, guys, for the kind words. They are greatly appreciated.
Tonight is just a small update. I finally put the havelock on my Flint V4. I took this opportunity to make a couple extra (subtle) changes. I originally had green tinted goggles on Flint. That color bothered me, so I exchanged that with yellow tinted goggles. Still not technically correct, but the yellow feels more desert-y. Also, there was originally a gun-metal/green baseball grenade on the vest. I switched that out for two black baseball grenades (how the hell I was lucky enough to get TWO black grenades from the website before they sold out, I?ll never know!) Thirdly, I switched from a black large knife to a tan knuckle knife for the right leg to get more vintage accurate. And lastly, even though the card art for V4 Flint has him with what looks like an M4, I just HAD to give my Flint a shotgun. I just think Flint is more Flint-y with a shotgun. Fun fact: the havelock is attached to the goggles strap and not the beret. FLINT (V4): 1994

Just finished up painting my version of 1993 Frostbite. There are some visual liberties taken with this guy. I know my version of Frosty should have unbloused boot-cut pants over his boots, but, honestly, whenever I give the Contract-Ops legs a full paint job, they look horrible, so I just kept the Arctic-Ops legs. The fur around the neck is Boss Fight Rodent kit fur and its a bit full, but you’re seeing it after it’s been cut down, thinned out and the neck-hole opened up some, so imagine what it looked like before! Anyhoo, I think it gets the point across.
FROSTBITE (V3): 1993

Really like this Frostbite, I did mine long ago & it's great to see a new take, I really like the rat fur & how you handled the grenades. Strong showing man!

Plugging away at the 1983 Joes. I want to get a class picture with all of them. Still need to make Cobra Commander (he?s almost done), Ace, and Gung Ho. But at least I?ve finished Torpedo.
The helmet is a JvC era Wet-Suit helmet. The SCUBA vest is a Spytroops Chief Torpedo vest. The backpack is a combination of a Star Wars First Order SnowTrooper backpack with some Dollar Tree Final Faction missiles glued on. Couldn?t tell you where the flippers came from. Anyway, here?s my attempt at Torpedo. TORPEDO (V1): 1983

Great stuff. Really dig Flint. Been trying to come up with a ME recipe for him for a while.
