Next up is Charbroil. I remember distinctly not liking this guy cuz he was replacing my good buddy Blowtorch (he was the first ?84 figure I got).

Oddly enough, I have not grown to love Charbroil as the years have gone on. Brown and yellow?pfft! C?mon, man, have some self-respect! At this point, after doing almost 200 figures, it’s me building figures I’m ABLE to make as opposed to the figures I WANT to make

That looks fantastic!! and I’m sorry I will not sit by and let you talk crap about CharBroil!! I love BlowTorch and CB!! I remember going to Walmart in 1988 and they had a small offering of Joes, so disappointed I go with my Mom to Ecerd’s drug stores and boom hanging on the peg is CharBroil!! I love the guy. ;)

Tonight is a quick and easy custom. I?ve always liked the colors on this guy. Strange choice, though, as the colors are decidedly not desert-appropriate. The guy literally has green camo. Anyhoo, I had the pieces for this guy in my parts bin. Just spruced up the brown on the harness rig and tried to paint a white T-shirt peeking up over his?um?well, his blue T-shirt. Don?t think about it too hard.
