This time I’ve got another three-fer.
First up is a goofy little project I’ve been working on for what seems like a year. It took that long simply because I just couldn’t make the effort to finish it. It’s been sitting on my Husky for-EVER! The only reason I finished it now is because I already had the light green paint out for another figure. I bring you Zarana’s Motorcycle. Scarlett was nice enough to model the motorcycle as Zarana is still, as yet, unfinished. Note that the helmet is a goofed-up Spy Troops Burnout helmet ZARANA’S MOTORCYCLE Next up is a guy that absolutely screams to be made. That yellow Shock-Ops body is perfect for the Blackstar. I know everybody and their brother have made MTF Cobra Blackstars, but, hey…I like the original Blackstar figure. Now, the helmet isn’t supposed to have the silver piping, but I thought I’d add a little pop. COBRA BLACKSTAR (V1): 1994 Lastly, this next guy is so bonkers, he gives the Lunartix figures a run for their money. Looking at this figure too long induces nausea. He’s an unproduced figure that would have appeared in the 1995 “Ninja Commandos” sub group. I just have to imagine the amount of cocaine the designers had running through their veins to come up with this guy, but you know what? He’s a Joe and - by God - I salute you! I present what would have been… KNOCK-DOWN (V2): 1995

Nice new additions! Black-Star is my favorite of this batch, but the others have merit, too. Keep 'em coming, bro!

Not to worry, Todd!
Let’s face it, no one can bat 1000. The main reason I did the com the way I did was to avoid sculpting (that’s my personal Voldemort). And, at first, the mic was in a better spot, but the glue didn’t hold well and I was forced to re-glue in a weird spot. But, I took your notes to heart and tried again. I bit-the-bullet and tried some sculpting. I have to say, the result looks very 90’s. -Todd Shakka85

Having some work done on the house, so my projects are being put on hold for a week or two. That being said, I DO have an hour or two at nights (after the kids go to bed but before they inevitably wake up wanting to sleep in our bed) that I can make small adjustments to previously made Joerauders. I am having some renewed love for the OG13 figures in my collection, so I am tweaking a few of them here and there. Tonight, I revisited Grand Slam and tried to do a bona fide V1 version. I wanted to differentiate Grand Slam from his colleague Flash, but I do not do full-body paints, so I could not make the Field-Ops suit a darker green like the vintage version. I did, however, try a few other things to make Grand Slam different. I WAS able to darken his helmet a little and I also sliced off a little bit of the visor. I painted most of the black accents green, but extended the black of the forearm armor plate to make it look like long gloves. I also painted his shin armor green and painted green sections on his shoes to make it look like he has gaiters.
GRAND SLAM (V1): 1982 GRAND SLAM (V2): 1983

Another great batch (I haven't been round for a while so I have missed quite a few). Brilliant idea cutting down the SWAT helmet for Flash, it really seems to work.
And all the best with the work on the house |

Once again, only had time to tweak this figure. Found some cloth dark tan legs to replace the previous armored legs that I had on him. Leatherneck’s Marine cover was previously a sand color; I wanted to darken the hat a bit (but kept the sand-colored trim. This one’s pretty straightforward. Here is…
