Thanks, Clockwise! Funny you should mention the NS Scrap Iron. At first, I was going to use some legs that I had previously painted blue and gray in an attempt to emulate the 2005 Scrap Iron, but I quickly changed tack.

Thank you l, Griff. I love Scrap Iron, but nearly all depictions of him is the goggle-helmeted, padded-tac-vest version. I do have some respect for the blue/gray Sectaur-looking version of Scrap Iron just because they tried a new look. I just wanted to give him a different look, too.

Thanks, SB! I actually bought an Accelerator Suit helmet for this version of Scrap Iron and was SO disappointed when I could not get it to fit (ended up breaking it, actually). But, luckily, Coby gave me a freebie Sci-Fi closed helmet and I thought I would try that. It looks fine as a backup helmet. I just kinda messed up the visor part when cutting the lower faceplate off.


So, couple days ago when I re-painted my Short Fuze, I also brought out my V1 Flash. Short Fuze benefited from the use of Speedpaints on a limited basis and, as a result, was a success. When I applied the same Speedpaints to Flash, it was a total disaster. The brown parts that I had painted over on Flash were so mottled and uneven, that it gave the painted pieces a corrosive look to them. Naturally, with my OCD, I could not just give up, so I tried my very best to correct the failed Speedpaints with regular acrylic paints. I took the opportunity to try to give Flash some gaiters like the vintage figure.
