This batch is great!

Poor neglected Short-Fuze is one of my favorite Joes, and one that Hasbro still hasn't done right in 43 years.

You've really added to the design with the different style backpack and its rope, plus perfect paint/color picks along the way. The colors on the boots look especially good together.

Gotta echo the sentiment for shortfuse and add while i was never a fan of the character your cutters are very well executed, especially the def version.

Ooh, so much new goodness in the last few pages. I am finally catching up. Your classic Copperhead is great. The shade of blue is perfect. Love your take on IG Destro. Looking forward to the finished result for him as well as Bludd and Serpentor.

Star Brigade was after my time, so I never really got into them. But your SB Destro makes me want to look them up. Great work!

Thank you, sir! To be honest, Major Bludd looks better in real life than in the photos. The brown is deep and rich.

Haha, you know me too well! I had the more accurate armored arm on there at first, but dang those cyborg arms look too good not to use.

Thank you, Clockwise. I cannot tell you why I like Short Fuze as much as I do. I am sure it has something to do with corresponding memories back when I was a lad. To this day I cannot listen to Who Can it Be Now by Men at Work without memories of me playing with my brand new Grunt action figure. Hard-wired memories, I suppose.

Thanks, Griff! The classic Cutter will always be the version I remember best, but the DEF Cutter (the orange and blue version) is just such a cool sculpt. I cannot wait for the Marauders website to get the flak jacket. I will definitely use that for my Shark 9000 Cutter.

Thank you CrazyLegs! Both Destro and Serpentor both make me nervous. I am much more comfortable building kitbashes with the Marauders stuff. I have been doing Marauders for - what? - ten years now? I am not well versed in Boss Fight parts and I have trouble finding what I want.

Okay, parts bin build (mostly). I had the JoyToy vest and codpiece laying around collecting dust and wanted to do SOMETHING with them. They were both gun-metal colored. I wanted to see what they looked like in deep red. Not bad. At that point there was only one character I wanted to make, one of my all-time favorite Cobras, Scrap Iron. I envision this version to be a walking missile launcher like Heavy Metal (those pieces will have to come much later). I wanted to use my Brynner bald head just cuz I like the face sculpt. I slapped on some scars on his face and used a freebie Sci-Fi helmet I got from AVACs.

Oh dude your scrapiron is absolutely awesome. Id love to see this as a classified fig. Its a great modern look but still recognize able as scrapiron!

This looks like a fusion of the original ARAH Scrap Iron and the forgettable armored NS one, but with all of the silliness of the NS design stripped out.
