In a continuing effort to close out some of my parts bins, I just to happen to have a full Night Ops Valkyrie body that have NO idea what I was going to use her for. And, hey, I still have that MTF Sarah Connor (Reagan) head from before the much superior MTF Christina head came out. Turns out the ponytail head works better with the painted vest. No rubbing. I decided to do an Iron Grenadier version of Baroness. I also had some BFS female arm-guards that I was determined to use for her. The size difference between MTF forearms and BFS forearms is significant so I had to shave down the Baroness forearms till they were almost toothpicks. Got it done, though. Only other point of interest is the gold paint. It comes off just from looking at it too hard. Posing Baroness is an exercise in frustration. I remembered to fight off my knee-jerk reaction to place a Cobra symbol on her vest. I do not have any IG decals, so she will have to go logo-less for now.
In other news, I am working on some new kitbashes. These are all in different stages of disrepair and some will not be finished until there is an MTF restock. I am doing a Dreadnok B.A.T., a Dreadnok Torch and I am also exploring ways to make a version of a Dreadnok Copperhead (I almost really consider Copperhead to be a Dreadnok.) Other upcoming kitbash include a Skybound version of Chameleon, a Sonic Dial-Tone, a V1 Ambush, a Crimson Guard Viper, a female Cobra Trooper, an IG Destro, but the kitbash I am most looking forward to completing is my Star Brigade Armor Tech Destro. He will have both arms and only CARRY a missile launcher. I do not like the vintage Armor Tech figures, so my Destro will be traditionally sized. BARONESS (Iron Grenadier) ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have a question - do you have all of these displayed in one place? You have made 100s of great figures...just curious what you have done with them all?

I love Watersnake, that helmet is awesome. Looks like I need to head back to a Dollar Tree and check for new Final Faction stuff.

Thank you for the kind words, guys! They are much appreciated.
In answer to your question about displaying my figures, unfortunately the only place they sit right now is in a bottom drawer (and a couple overflow boxes). My mother-in-law lives with us, so space is at a premium. But each figure has his own clamshell until the day when I can display them. ![]() ![]()

I keep coming back to this kitbash. I think this might actually be the 4th photoshoot of him. I was looking over some of my older guys to see if I could improve on any of them. (Honestly, I could probably improve on all of them).
I have come to find that I do not like to have my kitbashes without some kind of vest or web-gear. I prefer the bulked up appearance that vests give. I tried multiple vest configurations, but ultimately settled on the Dime Novel Legends Cavalry short coat. Many layers of dried out purple later and I hope this new vest gives Battlecorps Major Bludd a beefier silhouette. MAJOR BLUDD (V3): 1994 ![]() ![]() ![]()

That IG Baroness rocks hard. I have been planning a custom one as well but couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do. Yours is really inspiring.
Major Bludd is so awesome. Where is the head sculpt from? |
