That is an instantly recognisable Beachhead, great job
For Mortal you could always pop the torso open and give him a whole red arm to avoid painting over the joint. |

You know what? I think that’s a great idea. I’ll do it.

Dude, you are straight up killing it with this last batch! I have a ton of MTF fodder that I still want to use up before the Vietnam stuff is in hand so I’m loving see you pump so many new figures out using those parts.
Love the little touches of paint you added to make Mortal your own. Beachhead looks badass with that vest that most people pass on using very often. That super bright Blowtorch.....a Link Tailbot....Cutter, the awesome Astro Viper and I’ll always enjoy seeing a Battlecorps Stalker. Just top notch figures! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next!

Love the Class of '84 customs, as that was my personal favorite year for Joe and Cobra characters overall! Rip-Cord (favorite figure from the ARAH line back in the day) looks really nice, and Blowtorch and Cutter are great representations of their respective ARAH counterparts. Then there are the Astro-Viper, Stalker, Link Talbot and Cobra Mortal, which I can dig, as you are making every figure in Marauder form (Marauderizing them; new word I came up with today!). And finally there is Beachhead... I gotta love that one, as he is a must have character in the Joe mythos! No critiques here, only Kudos!

I have a few more tonight.
Firstly, this guy is really just a tweak. I have been doing a lot of simple tweaks lately as we have going through some renovations to the house. Scrap Iron is another 1984 figure that I am sprucing up in order to take a Class of 1984 group photo. I finally gave Scrappy his red boots. Also painted his right thigh-pad and thigh-strap red to mimic the vintage figure. By no means am I proficient in detail work, but I do feel a TAD more comfortable painting faces. I finally painted in Scrappy?s eyebrows in and refined the black head-smock like detail around his face. Also got a little bit of red on that stylized snake logo on his helmet. SCRAP IRON (V1): 1984 Then we have a figure that came together very quickly. Cobbled together from existing bin parts. To be honest, I should have matched this figure to the original more closely by painting him a dark gray, but - shit - he is gray enough and, quite frankly, he is not that great a figure anyway. This is FIREFLY (V6): 2002 Lastly, we have a Joerauder I have learned to hate. Lemme tell you, this guy has been a pain in my side for four years now. 1989 Downtown. I could not paint back then, so I just used the dark Security-Ops blue for the shirt. I never had the original figure, so I had to look at reference pictures and could never tell if I needed to paint some parts red or orange. Then, when the Strato-Ops figure came out, I thought I might use that color for the shirt. Ended up not liking that either, so I went back to dark blue. I finally got his vintage helmet off eBay, but ended up not liking THAT either. I have gone back and forth with almost every aspect and detail of this guy. Frankly, I need to put him away for good for my own mental health. I finally present Downtown. DOWNTOWN (V1): 1989

You have been on fire! I don't know how you are getting all of these done (even if it's updates) but AMAZING work! Scrap, T'Ginzu, Down Town all winners!

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words of support.
I only have one figure tonight. I have always had a passing interest in this figure. Despite the weird camo, he is a bit simpler than a lot of other Joes and I think that is what I like about him. I have always felt his weed-whacker looked a little underpowered and weak. I wanted to beef it up a tad. I glued 4 MTF chainsaw attachments to a steady cam gun and popped some kind of third party Lego chainsaw piece to the barrel. The new MTF vests that they had at JoeFest do not have any back-holes in them, so, for now, I have opted to leave his backpack off. Here we go with PATHFINDER (V1): 1990
