Just wanted to post a quick update to my ongoing debacle that is my Automan and Autocar. I bought a G.I.Joe Silver Mirage side-car seat from eBay, pushed it into some modeling clay and stuck it all into the cabin. I also got some Ice Blue E.L. Wire from Amazon and lined it around the cabin as best I could. I’m disappointed in the finished product, so I will continue to hone the project into something I’m proud of. In the meantime...here is the current state of the Autocar...

I think that looks awesome. But anything Tron or tron looking is an automatic win for me.

I think in our minds when we start a custom we have a grand vision of what the finished produce is going to look like. When it doesn't we are disappointed and see it as a "disaster". What I've realized is others never saw our original vision. They see the final product. I'm looking at this and thinking "Dang that is really cool how Rob did the paints and lighting" you see it as not the way you pictured it in your mind.

As stljoe said we are our own worst critics and that isn't always a bad thing as it pushed us to get better, but again in this case I don't see anything at all wrong with what you've created.

Yup, I agree.....I think this looks pretty awesome! Not an easy custom to visualize or pick parts for so I think you really did a great job putting it all together. Looks really cool with your Auto Man!
