Great idea and then just a beautiful paint job & decal placement on that Falcon! Definitely will be making myself one of those since the Falcon is one of the earlier green vehicles that I don’t have.
Awesome job on the Grunt too! Love the tan versions of the OG13 characters.

Looks good. Could have gone for a Lt. Falcon, but this is nice too.

First I’m loving the new customs Rob. They look great and it’s nice to see that Space Duke getting some love.
With that I found myself going through the Rob archives and how the hell did I miss this???!!!! This has to be some of the cleanest line work I’ve seen and you did it with a color that’s not the easiest to work with. Brilliant job! I’ve actually refrained from doing a Lt. Falcon custom. He such a beloved character and he’s been so scrutinized, that I just don’t think I could do him justice. And also I’m shit at painting camouflage.

Another fairly easy and quick custom. It all started with some lonely Strato-Ops legs. Went to Yojoe and started flipping the pages. Lo and behold, found Ace.

Haha, another figure who I always want to do but never figure out a way to start. Always wanted this Ace growing up but couldn’t justify buying a third Battle Copter just for the figure.
Great job figuring out a code for this one! I love seeing a modern version of this Ace and dropping the new Joe logo on the helmet was a really good idea, helps break up the plain white. Awesome color match on the light blue too! Keep the fun 90’s guys coming!

Grunt and Ace look great, always fun checking out your thread! I've been planning an MTF based custom for Ace since I recently got a modern version of the Skystriker without a pilot though...now I know what its new pilot will look like

So, this guy is, of course, not one of my favorites, but I do not hate the guy either. He was one of the very last Joes I ever bought, so he has a bit of sentimental value

That Ace is pippin’, buddy! I dig it.
Nice Metalhead. I like 90s Joes, too!
