Look...I didn’t know Gary. I’m sure he was a wonderful person. Honoring him with a figure is a great idea and a perfect way to reward a clearly much-loved member of the Joe community, I just didn’t feel the need to drool all over the figure Hasbro gave us. I appreciate the Joe Declassified version better...

Vintage Darklon is a perfectly gonzo-bat-shit-crazy idea and figure and I have learned to love the figure...

I never knew about European Tiger Force Psyche-Out when I was a kid, but was well aware of him before the Club version. I think he’s a great twist on an admittedly already very weird figure...

I was eyebrow-deep into G.I. Joe by ‘83 and that year is still my all-time favorite year of Joe...but it’s followed VERY closely by the ‘84 lineup. I was there when the the ninja stuff all started (issue #21 is my third-favorite issue *). Oddly enough, I was out of G.I. Joe by ‘85.

Oh, Grunt...I certainly didn’t like this version back in the day, but I have a certain - loyalty - to Grunt as he was my first Joe. I figured what the H.
