Post #2 reveal lineup and pic uploaded!
Since EdgeCrusher asked the question early, I should explain: Why T13? For some mystical reason, I’m kind of obsessed with groups of 13 when it comes to G.I. Joe/Cobra figures, sets, or groups, mainly due to my adoration of the Original 13. There’s a weird meta power about that number with this brand that I like to tap. Too many Grant Morrison comics I guess. As for the “T”: Back when I settled on this lineup in 2004, I called them my New13 or N13. It’s now been 9 years since, and although somewhat modernized, all these characters are almost 30 years old—so new doesn’t right. I’ve been mulling over a new designation for almost a year, but nothing really stuck. When it finally came time to upload this batch of photos, and get this thread finally going, I thought “T” sounded pretty good, for my (T)op 13—and they all happen to be tops in this forum’s polls (except for 2, which are a few spots away from the top 13 Joes). But the more I thought about it in the last 24 hours, these aren’t necessarily my personal top/favorite 13. Other thoughts for the “T” were Tier13 (one three), or Team13 (as in choose your own 13 team). So I went with T13 yesterday. Other ideas were G-reat 13, R-evised 13, C-oncept 13, E-lite 13, P-ick 13, S-pecial 13, U-13, X-(?)13. But I think I’m stuck with T13, which is okay. It’s unique, a bit ambiguous, and sounds like some sort of code name-number that code actually be used for a new line. Terrible explanation. I hope I didn’t let anyone down with this name reveal. Anyway, anyone’s encouraged to reveal their “T13” here on this thread (or to start a new general discussion or point to an old similar one). More pics and verbose musings (and reasonings for character and look choices) in the weeks to come…

Man I LOVE that Flint! I've got a custom I haven't posted that is very similar to that one. It has that "Renegades" Flint look to it. Awesome work! Can't wait to see these individually up front.

Love the haircut you gave Duke. Looks perfect for him (or early Hawk)! Might have to try it myself. Inspiring stuff.

The original intention was to go near bald, but I chickened out. More on that on the future, but for now, Race Bannon (Johnny Quest).

Fantastic! They look like a combination of POC and Resolute style figures.

This is an incredible crew of Joes, and most of your "T13" would be in my T(op) 13 as well. Kudos on a job well done!
