Well, heres what he looks like with the Air Trooper pack. I like how it turned out, but I still need to do several touch ups.

Im working on a way to have him "Unmasked" too, but i cant find any pictures of what he looked like under the mask in the old cartoon (I want to say he had brown hair, but thats all I can remember).
Whats cool is the chestplate/shoulder pad section is removable, so you can have him dressed up but without his equipment. Im still workin on it, but damn Im happy how this is turning out for my first attempt at this stuff. Thanks for the comments guys! |

Im debating whether I should paint the knee pads and shorts area red, ala the original figure, but im torn because I like the look of those sections being black.

I like your custom! I always loved my barbeque figure when I was a kid. I don't remember what the gold emblem was since it's been waaaay too long for me to remember that!

yeah, i see the emblem in some of the original toy pictures, but its not clear what it is. I had the old Slaughters Marauders BBQ, but never the original, but I cant find the dang thing anywhere (im dying to find the damn ax).
Well, I went ahead and painted his shorts area, and I think it does look better, at least closer to the original, and I added another coat to the backpack, so once it dries, Ill see what else I can do to it |

And I know his actual colors are a grey and orange tint, but the paint kit I bought was a bit limited in the colors, but Im diggin this color deco, even if it is a bit "cobra-ish"
