Since neither the Club or Hasbro have made a Version 1 of Hardball I decided to kit bash the Club’s Marauder figure into version 1. I took some liberties customizing the figure, so it isn’t completely v1 accurate. I wanted to deviate from the vintage version in that with some alternate parts I could make the figure look a little more like he is wearing a baseball uniform. I choose to give him knee pads to simulate those a ball player would wear and instead of regular laced boots I used Resolute style to simulate the stirrups a ball player might have on his pants.
The iPad photos make the figures look skinnier than they actually are. The new legs are actually very proportionate. In the future I’ll remeber not to take figure pictures with it. |

Cool, and neat idea to use gaitors for stirrups. But, ball players wear knee pads? Really? Giving his a set of catcher's shin guards and making him part of an urban swat team - that would be awesome.
But seriously - looks great! |

Nice. I'm have the legs from Chicken Fried toys, but haven't had time to try them out. I may also just remove the camo paint from a 50th Beachhead and use those instead. I like yours though.

Sweet job Superjoe. It just baffles me as to why the club didn't just release him in his original deco.
