It was actually really easy to get the mask off on mine. I just ran my fingernail around the edges of the mask (find a place where there's a gap to start) to break the glue. It really only seemed to be glued mainly around the edges, so then it separated easily. Didn't have to resort to boiling or using an Xacto at all.

Awesome job!
I don't know if I'd ever use this guy as a Cobra Commander, but he's a good figure nonetheless. I can always use more mad scientists. |

just wondering can you fill in the head hole and will he still wear the helmet or is it really the only thing to hold his mask on?

You *might* be able to...there are two tabs on the sides at the bottom, but I think it would fit a lot looser than it does with the peg. I thought about giving it a shot, but since I'm planning on displaying him with the mask on most times, I left it as is.
