Heya guys,
Here's an imagining of Snake Eyes if he were to join up with Wet-Suit, and co for the Special Mission to Brazil! I also have a Storm Shadow, and Stalker imagined this way, too. |

Thanks fellas! Glad you guys are digging the patterns as I come along in my progress. This was probably the best/most complete woodland pattern I've done so far.
I'm getting better more and more when it comes to painting these days in general. But, lately, I think I'm going to try specializing in camos if I can. Like, we all have areas of our customs where we might be just ok at, really good, or bad at. I think I wanna be master of all thing camos. Maybe I actually have a talent for it. And, you're damn right, I've been busy Abe! I've been trying to make up for lost time! I was literally dying not too long ago, and there was good evidence I might not be coming back to my joes, or creating much of anything. Now, since I've been reintroduced to life again, holy crap! These past 2 or 3 weeks I'm bursting out my seams with ideas and creativity. I just need to get more parts, and need to figure out the best ways and tactics to achieve the things I see in my head. Doin' some painting and patterns like this is easy now. I'm looking forward to mastering torso cracking, arm swapping, and limb mixing next, like I see it all come together in my head. All the best to everyone who checks out my progress as I go along. I'm really trying to jam pack the figures full of as much life and goodness as I can for ya'll |

Nice look! I wonder, though (and no criticism intended - this is really just idle speculation) . . . in a jungle setting might a machete be a better dual use blade than a katana?

Not really cause in WWII and Nam the Japanese and NVC carried katanas, and think about all the jungle settings that were there.

The sword Snake-Eyes uses is one of the Arashikage Clan's most finest, and treasured heirlooms known or unknown to this world. Made hundreds and hundreds of years ago in Japan by one of the world's best, and last, true master sword-makers. The secret of it's composition and quality of it's steel has been lost to the ages for generations and generations. A sword of that quality and repute is much, much greater than any kind of machete made in modern times and issued to any type of soldier, or combatant. Though, as with any tool in the hand of it's user... it's not the quality of the tool that matters, but the skill of the user itself. I'm sure even if Ol' Snake-Eyes had a stamp forged machete with the most impure of steel. Something that resembled aluminum foil, even. It'd be just as lethal and effective in his hands. But, LT, don't worry for the joes down there in the jungle! Snake-Eyes' loyal buddy, Stalker, who's also geared up to join the Brazil Mission with him, and Storm-Shadow has a killer Machete! It's suited perfectly for the kind of underbrush, and thick foliage they'll encounter on the way to rescue Dial Tone! Now we know, and knowing?... It's definitely half the battle! I'll post some pics of Stalker, all geared up for his joining of the Brazil Mission when I get home from work tonight! |
