First of all, I hate the fact that as a kid you were limited in which issues of Marvel comics you owned. Stalker was a prominent figure in early issues. I've always considered Stalker to be like the second in command, under Hawk, of the O13 - kind of like the squad leader. Man you sure missed out on some good comics focusing on Stalker! Hopefully you've made up for it as an adult.
Secondly, WOW! What a simple, but amazing custom! The fact that you gave Stalker a simple two-tone camo pattern is what makes this figure! When I was scrolling and first saw the pic of Stalker sitting in the Bivouac, at first glance I thought it was ARAH figure - your custom looks that close to the original figure. Great work! Jason |

Jason As for the comics, I was always more of a cartoon kid. I'm not sure if that was ''because of'' or ''instead of'' having many comic books. It did not help that we did not have a comic store in the area. What I did get came from the corner convenience store that did not always have the latest issue and they were sometimes in French. It meant that the issues that I did have became very memorable to me since I read and re-read them often. I have since read through the entire original run. OB

I've always liked Stalker even though (much like you Oreo) I don't have any fond memories of owning the original as a kid. He was just a member of the Joes and didn't really stand out otherwise. It wasn't until my adult collecting years that he really grew on me.
This custom is awesome, buddy! |
