That's a great idea. I keep forgetting about Mouse.

Fantastic job on these, especially Steeler. Head and torso choice s work really well!
The only thing you may consider is adding a Vallejo Satin Varnish finish to Steeler (and also Zap) to get a better match of sheen to your standard green figures. But we'll also see what the group shot tells us. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing the group shots of the completed O13 in a new separate post--with links to all these individual posts for each figures for easy future reference. Thanks! I hit Steeler and Zap withthe same matte finish I use on all my customs. However, the base paint is flatter, so I may have to spray them with a slightly shinier finish to compensate. Thanks! OB

I, too, will have to look into that Vallejo Satin Varnish finish. I currently use Testor's Dull Coat, which does not match the sheen of molded plastic parts. Steeler is the only '82 straight arm figure that I never updated. So, years later he was still driving the MOBAT, straight arms and broken thumbs - SIGH! I love that you used the ARAH helmet and visor for Steeler. It looks so much better than any modern day version of these parts. To me, that visor is the iconic look of Steeler. Body wise, I think the 50th version of Steeler (with the Firefly torso) is a good choice of parts, closely matching the open collar look of ARAH Steeler, but the torso you used also closely resembles that look as well. Great job on both customs. Jason |

OH, and that pic of Steeler IN the MOBAT is a great illustration by we seriously need an update to this iconic vehicle that actually works with modern day figures.
