Brawychus

From The book of Monte:
"No one has any photographs or other evidence of this thing's existence, but it has been seen throughout the ages... in various regions of the world. And it has been described differently in each region, perhaps owing to the influence of the culture and folklore of each region. (I confess I don't know which region of the world would be most likely to suggest that the thing has a rodent head!)

In the present day, there is a two-fisted scholar in the vein of Indiana Jones. He resides in Providence, Rhode Island ('cause that's where Lovecraft was born). He is the only historian and folklorist dedicated to the study of the "scary thing"; to everyone else in academia, it is a fool's myth, beneath contempt.

But this scholar/adventurer dude has followed rumors of the creature's existence in Mexico (where he admonished a Latino colleague thusly: "No, you fool, it's not la chupacabra! I'm telling you, it has the body of a snake!"), and to the remote arctic, where its story overlaps with strange reports of an ancient cult of plant people who worship snakes (that's a nod to Cobra-La, Milt; I don't know your level of familiarity with established Joe narratives). This latter notion accommodates the Man-Thing-ish head, which looks somewhat plant-like:

In Egypt they call it Serpent-Ra.

A modern terrorist group calls it Serpent-Or and bases much of their iconography on the creature."

I painted some mini-kits to fit my Berserker snake. He morphs into anything scary, like uh, a capybara.
Some Marvel Wasp wings. Tamiya J,N Green and Cockpit Green paint for the body, Black/Green for the fur. no paint match needed.

Steeds of Asperity

Feels a bit undersized but will do for now
Prince of Persia horses with Persian rug cut off. Fine black cloth cut from GF's lingerie (Smartass says: lingerie has fine delicate materials that work better with this scale). Chains from Michael's, Stheno shin guards, Asperity spikes and a few Joe backpacks. Flexrex for leather straps.

The lance is a repurposed Euraylie dagger on top of a Greek lance. Plus chains and straps, for that drama effect..

Repurposed some Amazon leg armor into gauntlets. Just cut the knee part with scissors and Bob's yer uncle!

I bought an evil skeleton and loved it so much I made a 2nd one from a white blank I had. All it took was a black wash, not sure which is the original anymore. Dogged up with a Rodent mini-kit fur collar and various painted armor fodder and chains. Modified Orc helmet and knight helmet. Easy breezy. Silly detail: One was stabbed in the back

Anubis

Painted mini-kit, Achilles body, top is modified from a Rey figure. Bracelets are repurposed female gauntlets, cut in half (top part used). I'm gonna do his mummy next
