I re-imagined Action Force's Tripwire as a new character with a new codename, and added a mine-detecting rat. Blastwave is the human, and Sniffy is the rat.
Mine-detecting rats are real things, believe it or not. Last edited by Clockwise; 04-21-2019 at 07:40 PM.. |

Well, I guess if you're going to have a rat, it should be able to sniff out IEDs for you... Pretty cool, bro!

Nice! I'm imagining every time Sniffy dies he's replaced with Sniffy II, III, XLV, Etc...

That is awesome!! And I like the comment about a 'disposable pet'.

Thanks, all!
The rat is a Playmobil piece. Can't remember if it's supposed to be a rat or a mouse, but on this scale it works as an African Pouched Rat. They're about the size of cats. As for having to replace Sniffy with new Sniffys, the rats are used because they're trainable, long lived (about 8 years), and don't weigh enough to set off the mines. But if Hasbro were to make a rat-themed figure, it should include multiple rats! There's a whole segment on the rats on Weird Wonders of the World (on Netflix) if anyone wants to learn more about the rats. |
